Host was excellent and checked in with us several times. The house was great for our needs. Could have had a few more items in kitchen such as salt; had plenty of pepper and some other common condiments. The lighting in living room is ceiling light yet without a dimmer so very bright. Otherwise darling place and so close to the beaches and action. Loved our stay and would go back again.

The location of the cottage can't be beat! It's a short walk from the beach and dozens of restaurants and stores within a few minute walk.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandbox. It was just the right size and so close to the beach and restaurants, bars, grocery, everything we needed. The communication with the host was great - she responded to emails almost immediately and was very welcoming. The beach chairs and umbrella provided were so helpful, and the parking space is a terrific perk. I would highly recommend!

Easy to get there and get settled in. They were so accommodating. We have been coming to San Diego since I was 10 and this is by far the best, most central location I have ever stayed at. We are excited to come back and stay again!

My daughters and I absolutely loved our stay here! The place was beautifully updated, clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were friendly, available immediately for any questions or concerns and more than willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We made wonderful memories together here and hope to get to stay here again next summer.

We love San Diego!

This was the perfect location for our family adventure to San Diego. Walking distance to everything…beaches, restaurants, stores. Also very close to Sea World! Also a really cute cozy space for our little fam!

Nice stay and location

Very easy to walk a couple of blocks to the beach. Very clean and I appreciated having one dedicated parking spot for a small car, a very private patio area with plenty of light, private laundry, and 2 beds in the 2nd room. Host was responsive to questions. It has been nicely remodeled and was not cluttered. It is surrounded by homes and next to an alleyway so you don’t have outdoor views but you can easily walk to the beach for beautiful views. They provided a nice beach bag with 4 towels and sunscreen which was nice. There was one adult beach chair, 3 small chairs for children.and a boogie board for use.

The property is wonderful and very close to so many amazing attractions! We did experience a person jumping on top of the house in the middle of the night, resulting in the police having to be called. I would have liked for the owner/host to reach out and acknowledge what happened. Other than the incident it we had a great time!

Clean and close to the beach!

My sisters and I recently stayed at pacific beach. A couple of highlights were that it was super close to the beach, so we were able to walk the beach in the morning and at night after exploring San Diego during the day. There were restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shops within walking distance. The inside of the house was super clean and exactly as pictured! We ended up going out to eat and didn’t use the kitchen, but it was well stocked with utensils, cups, plates, etc. We liked being able to do laundry on site too. The only downside to the location is that it backed up to an alley, and the restaurant behind us closed around 11pm each night, so it was pretty noisy right by our windows at times while they were bringing out garbage, etc. We were a little nervous walking around at night, but I think it’s because we were unfamiliar with the area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quick responses from the host when we had questions!

Great Location

This is the perfect location in PB. It’s walking distance to beach, bars and restaurants. The house was very clean and cutely decorated. My daughter and I loved our stay there.

Excellent 2-night stay with teens in PB

For a rental close to the beach, the property was extremely clean and well kept. For a family of 4 it was just the right size. It's a good layout. The parking spot helped as it gets quite busy on weekends. Great location, close to food, shops and the beach. Just the right amount of communication with Shannon as checkin/out was easy.

Great location for a family

We had a great stay. We came for a wedding and it was so convenient to be able to walk to the beach and so many great restaurants and stores. The house is like a sweet oasis with a lovely side patio. This is a great option for a family!
