Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: good location to everything for our entire family. The house was ideal for everyone incl 5 grandchildren. The house was not clean. Grill, stovetop and oven were dirty. Had to call back the mgnt company for cleaning service. Their were no instruction regarding the movie room and tv's. Batterries were needed in all remotes.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad the home was a great fit for your entire family and especially for your five grandchildren, and that you enjoyed the convenient location. We’re pleased that our team was able to address the cleaning concerns in a timely manner. We also have helpful videos available for the movie room and TVs, and had we been notified about the remotes or TVs during your stay, we would have been happy to send maintenance out to assist. First trip to the Smoky Mountains

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was beautiful, the location was perfect. There were small issues when we checked in. There was a pile of used pool towels in the pool and no new pool towels were delivered. There was a hole in the wall going down to the pool area. There was a broken side of the pole cue holder. One of the deck chairs was broken. But overall we were pleased with the stay and the property. We would definitely stay again

Great cabin with lots of room for the family. We had 3 generations of family all stay under one roof. The amenities were great and provided lots of things to keep us occupied even in bad weather. The views are great as well. Only a few complaints - could be more seating in the great room, there are no spots to set your soap and shampoo in the showers, the pool and lower deck have alarm systems that have to be pressed and door has to be closed in a certain amount of time which was more annoying than anything, there were plenty of TVs in all the rooms but no cable or subscriptions are provided yet cable boxes controlled a bunch of the TVs- which made them pointless, and the theater system was not hooked up properly when we got there but we connected it properly after slight research (the owners provided a great "how to" video that explained how to get the projection screen to play your movies but the wires were not connected to the soundbar or splitter correctly when we got there).

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very big and the pool was very nice. There was some horrible smell coming from the theater room which did not allow us to really use it. 2 technicians came to solve the problem and unfortunately was never resolved.
Response from VrboOwner on Apr 13, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the spacious cabin and the pool, but we are very sorry about the issue you experienced with the theater room. We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant odor and the inconvenience it caused, especially since it impacted your ability to fully enjoy that space. We also regret that our technicians were unable to fully resolve the issue during your stay. That is certainly not the experience we want for our guests, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. Your comments have been shared with our maintenance team so we can further investigate and prevent similar issues moving forward. We truly appreciate your patience while we worked on the problem and your feedback as it helps us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide a much better experience in the future.

Great choice

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious and clean. Easy to get to (paved road/neighborhood) but high enough for nice views. Loved the theater and pool. Suggestions: Dining table is large but seating for table is lacking, needs another long bench on opposite side. Also, given that this is a cabin meant for large groups, recommend having some casserole dishes available in the kitchen.
