Quiet Cozy Cottage on Keuka Lake Wine Trail

Secluded cottage on beautiful, warm, clean Keuka Lake. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Master bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom has two bunk beds (sleeps four) and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 8 people. All new furniture and mattresses last summer. Central air-conditioning added in spring 2021! New queen bed and mattress added last spring. 112 feet of shoreline. Dock and swim float. Rowboat included. Big yard. Level property with lots of parking. Very quiet--6 acres of undeveloped land between highway and cottage. Only 2.5 miles away from the town of Penn Yan--close to supermarkets, restaurants and boutique shopping. Morgan Marina is 2.5 miles away where you can rent boats and stock up on watersports gear. Great fishing in Keuka Lake! Keuka is comfortable to swim in from mid-June through September. East Lake Road is right along the wine trail.
The house is a duplex with the rental side on the south side of the building and the owners side on the north side of the building. We use our apartment on the weekends only but are only there about half the weekends in the summer. The rental apartment is 900 square feet. Most of our weeks of the summer are filled with repeat customers who have rented from us for years. Come see us! The Becks Family

Place your boat on the mooring buoy overnight. Do not leave your boat tied to the dock and unattended for long periods day or night. It damages boats.

Cute lakeside cottage

The cottage was clean and conveniently located with the extra bonus of being right on the lake! The owners were very easy to communicate with and provided a lot of great information (i.e.their favorite restaurants) prior to the trip. Great little cottage!

Fantastic stay!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The view from the great room and deck was so beautiful! The beach, also, has beautiful views and was so relaxing listening to the waves. The water is crystal clear, sunsets beautiful, and so many stars at night. There is a great fire pit right on the beach. We had several camp fires and was great for making s'mores.

Beautiful place, lovely views.

We had a brief but great stay. The house was clean, views were fabulous and the area was fun. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We boated, hiked and visited some wineries. Would definitely stay here again.

Sister Trip 2020

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this property. The owner was very accommodating, puppy snuggles and all! The lake view is beautiful. Relaxing next to the fire and listening to the lake was just what we needed.

Great lakeside location on crystal clear part of Keuka Lake

Excellent location with large dock with crystal clear water on Keuka Lake. Very clean home with large family room and large back porch. AC included for warmer days. Great for families and also very close to the town of Penn Yann which has plenty of retail and dining options.

Great stay

We had a great experience staying in this house. It's very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing, the water is very clear and can see the fish! You can get in the water or have a small bonfire next to the lake and see the beautiful sunset. Also, if your looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay, this is the perfect place for you. We are definitely coming back to this house.

great getaway property

We had and amazing time staying at this property for a long weekend getaway. The view of the lake was beautiful and within a few steps to a dock to enjoy fishing or just relaxing . We found the area perfect and convenient to everything we wanted to do at the finger lakes, wine tasting, golfing, fishing and shopping. The owners were great to work with from the time I made the reservation until the trip was over. The property was well stocked with basic essentials and very clean.

Nice getaway

We had really nice time! Location is great, but water still was cold for swimming. We have to go back again later in the summer to enjoy swimming. But kayaking, boating and fishing were great 😊 We definitely will go back again.

Rare Gem

We didn’t want to leave. The location of the place is phenomenal. We were very comfortable inside the home and had all amenities that we needed. Dieder’s family was very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed talking with them. Host was also very quick to respond. Can’t wait to come back!

Keuka lake stay.

Great place to stay. No issues, problems or complaints. Deck overlooks the lake which is 25 feet away if that. Private driveway with one other house. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Ten minutes to Seneca lake, winery across the street, 5 minutes to Penn Yan. 20 minutes to Hammondsport and 2 miles to Oak Hill Cafe (best bakery around). Perfect location.

Great Location on a Great Lake

The place was perfect for what we wanted for our vacation. The size worked well for the two of us, it was lake-side with very easy access to the lake, and it was not located right on the highway. The lake had crystal clear water and successful fishing. The sunsets were spectacular. We used the rowboat several times. The rowboat could be improved with properly functioning oarlocks and wooden oars. The rubber handles on the current oars required gloves to use them. We were very happy with our choice to stay here. It was centrally located near everything we wanted to do.

Lake front views

Two friends and I (three total) stayed at this property between June 13-15th. We were looking for something last minute and this property was available. The property was clean, the owners were nice, and the house sits on the lake. You can't ask for much more; zero complaints. We rented kayaks and the owners were okay with us getting them delivered to the house. We were able to enter the water right from the backyard - super convenient.

Wonderful Family Vacation!!

I cannot begin to say how great this vacation home was for my family and I! My wife and I were looking for a cozy waterfront home for our 3 young sons (8,6,4) to swim, fish, explore…and this more than exceeded our expectations! The property was clean, the water was crystal clear and the dock was great for fishing (we caught fish every evening)! We even enjoyed a nice campfire by the lake. It was Close to Penn Tan’s commercial district, close to hiking trails, it’s a perfect place to have a home base for a Keuka vacation! The Host was an excellent communicator as well! We plan on a return trip in 2022!

Wonderful lakeside getaway

Perfect location to Penn Yan and our family on the west side of the lake. Great dock, beach, yard and fire circle. Everything you need for a week at the lake. Pull out couch was not the most comfortable but love that it was a queen, we added a large piece of cardboard under the mattress which helped a lot. The bunk beds were a hit. Watch the hot water in the shower, it's good and hot! Dieder was great to work with, my boys had a great time playing with the Ethan. If no room with family we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Location

Beautiful Location for a quick visit for a friend's wedding. Wish we had more time at the VRBO and in the area because there was so much to explore. The lakefront is definitely worth it and if we were there longer I would have absolutely had a fire in the fire pit. Dieder was a fantastic host with a great sense of humor. Cons: the mattress on the pullout is old and I'd recommend (if staying a long time) you bring a foam pad or mattress pad. Also, minute issue, but I wish I had known to bring a sponge and dish soap so we could have properly cleaned dishes a little better!
