Une "île dans le ciel". . .

Cabine à deux étages de 1 278 pieds carrés avec garage à usage partiel détaché, enclos pour chevaux * (enclos à terminer, si tout va bien, fin septembre '18) avec remise attenante / remise. Situé à 8,595 pieds au-dessus du niveau de la mer, cette "île dans le ciel" offre une vue magnifique sur Quartz Creek Valley, entourée de bosquets d'Aspen, à proximité de Quartz Creek et de superbes vues sur les pics. C'est vraiment Rocky Mountain High!

Il y a une grande terrasse couverte qui couvre toute la largeur de l'avant de la maison, face à l'est. Les levers et les couchers de soleil sont pleinement expérimentés de la façon dont cette cabine est située sur la propriété, au milieu de la vallée de Quartz Creek.

We had a wonderful time! Cabin was clean and stocked with about everything you might need for your stay! The kids enjoyed the available games. Ohio City is a nice quiet town, but Pitkin and Gunnison are not too far away for trail riding or day trips.

Yes, it IS a great place to stay & enjoy the surrounding area. Whether your hunting, fishing, hiking, ATV'ing, exploring, skiing, or just want to relax, it's a wonderful place to stay. Also, with our "Barn Cabin" across the street, it opens up options for larger families/groups in planning their vacations . . .

Island in the sky cabin

Very simple and painless check-in.Kitchen accessories had everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms and living area was nice and clean as well. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Cabin was perfect for our week of riding in the mountains. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something in this area. We would definitely choose it again in the future!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed the cabin. The bunk room was a fun spot for our four kids. We enjoyed the porch with all the seats. We brought our side by side to ride trails so we had to trailer to Pitkin everyday. It was a short 12 min drive. The cabin was stacked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!!!

Great Cabin, Great Location

Spent a few days at the cabin while exploring the nearby trails. Was great to play Horseshoes again, and the neighbors were helpful and friendly.

Great Place.

We enjoyed this cute cabin. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the horse shoe pits and tetherball. We would stay here again.

Everithing was awesome. The cabin is beautiful, cozy and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms have everything you needThere were only 2 things negative:1 coverlet was torn and there were dog’s hair below the furniture

Just FYI, the last tenant was the 1st & ONLY one we've allowed to rent any of our cabins with a pet (we have a NO PET POLICY) because he had a "service dog" & we're obligated under the VRBO agreement not to discriminate. It appears that the cleaning crew missed a few things. I just contacted them & asked them to make a thorough cleaning again. It shouldn't happen again . . . and thanks for bringing this up. Have a wonderful 2025!

Great Location

We loved staying at your house. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location is great if you like to take your ATV on the trails around Pitkin, which is what we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to visit again.

Island in the sky was all and more we could have imagined. We loved the cozy cabin and the surrounding areas. We would definitely return for another stay!

My wife (Kim) & I have been married since 1972 & have been coming to Ohio City (from Santa Cruz, CA) since 1976, initially for hunting. It has since turned into a family retreat/reunion area and our families descend every-other year (around the 4th of July) on this small piece of paradise to celebrate our lives together (there are four other cabins nearby that have become an integral part of this experience). It has become a family tradition and the "best vacation ever", providing memories for multiple generations for years to come.
