About Michelle Lipka
Michelle is a licensed Zumba instructor and is active in the animal rescue community. Andrew is in the wine business. We love sharing our historic cottage with people who appreciate it's historic nature and cuteness!
Michelle Lipka purchased this House in 2015
Why Michelle Lipka chose Newberg
The Valley Wine cottage was built in 1920 and still has many of the original touches, but was completely lovingly renovated by us over a 2-year period to have all of the amenities of a modern home, including new electrical, plumbing, heating and a/c and screaming fast FIOS Internet. It just looks historic! All of our reviews on this and other rental platforms are 5 stars (over 85 reviews and counting) because we are in the hospitality business! We take care of our guests!
What makes this House unique
We are easily walkable to some of the best restaurants in wine country as well as tasting rooms, antique stores, George Fox University and historical sites. I'll be sending you a recommendations document upon booking to get you excited and help you plan your trip!

Beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed property. We loved our stay and wish we could have spent more time here. The communication was excellent and we would love to come back.
Wonderful vintage get away
The house was cozy and very comfortable. It had wonderful touches from the 1920’s that gave it a warm updated vintage feel.
Cute Cottage in Cute City
Compact cottage with great outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the weather and wine. Victorian furniture inside is nice compliment to the Queen Anne architecture style. The bedrooms are tiny-weeny! The cottage is well located to walk into town where there are lots of restaurants tasting rooms and shops.
Tucked into a quiet street but within easy walking distance of bakeries, coffee and wine, Michelle and Andrew’s cottage offers all the amenities of a well-stocked kitchen and wonderful linens and towels. An inviting deck with grill and a hammock beckoning in the back yard. But what we loved most was the prompt and thoughtful attention from the hosts. Do NOT miss Andrew’s wine shop. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Clean, cute, comfy!
You can walk to about 15 winery tasting rooms from our house, and over 300 wineries are about 10 minutes drive. We are 2 blocks from one of the best Disc Golf Courses in America!
