About Property Manager
Our family has been at Kiahuna longer than just about anyone else. My dad was the President of the Board of Directors of Phase I, Kiahuna back in the 80's and I have been on the board for five years. We consider the unit as a second home and try to afford our guests with the opportunities to do some of the things we like best like bike riding and snorkeling (new bikes and snorkel equipment available to guests at no extra charge), bocce ball on the lawn, Frisbee, etc. You will also find a French Easel in the closet upon which I have painted most of the paintings in the unit. My wife, Marijke and I, live on a small vineyard/winery on the Carmel River in Carmel Valley, California.

Why Property Manager chose Poipu
Our family has been visiting Hawaii since the 1960s. My parents looked for a place that reminded them of 'old Hawaii'; a place that was lush, slow-paced, and which offered instant access to the warm tropical waters. Kiahuna Plantation is that place. Low density, low buildings with traditional styling. It's decidedly un-touristy, while being being very convenient for tourists and owners. Our particular unit has a virtually uninterrupted view of the lawn and ocean and palm trees. We like the privacy of the second floor, and we enjoy the natural ventilation that occurs due to our 'end unit' location. One thing that we love about Kiahuna is that the property is immaculately maintained. The grass is groomed, the plants appear to be from a botanical garden, and yet it's low-key.

We had a great time staying in #25. Its island charm is comforting. Nice property and close to lots of shopping.
A wonderful week on Poipu
We've stayed in many units at this property and this is our favorite yet. Beautiful ocean view, open air kitchen and corner unit. The owners were lovely through the whole booking process. We will definitely stay in unit 25 again for our next stay. Mahalo!
This end unit has a great view and is much cooler than the inside units we’ve stayed in before.

Great location, east beach access
This is a lovely property. Great view of the ocean. Easy access to the beach. Clean, comfy beds. Just right for two people. Out only complaint is the stove/oven. It has been cleaned so often all the dial information is wiped off so it is hunt and peck for burner information and the stove definitely runs hot. But this would not keep us from staying here again. The property is quiet and relaxing. Laundry is near by. Shopping right across the highway. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hopefully we will be able to return to this great property. Thank you for two weeks of sun and relaxation.
We appreciate such a positive review. The issue of the dial numbers on the stove having disappeared is a problem that a several of us at Kiahuna have had and is doubtless attributable to multiple cleanings abetted by the tropical weather. When we return in November we will try to find a solution to this.
Great location; wonderful stay.
We had a great stay at unit 25. While the unit itself is a bit dated, the location is fantastic. Very close to Poipu Beach which is ideal for kids. The property was clean, the grounds are beautiful, several restaurants close by! Overall - a great rental.
