Views don't get any better than this. Watch endless PACIFIC OCEAN. Turtles, Dolphins, whales during whale season and other ocean activities. 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath. lanai . Ground floor unit makes for easy access. Oceanfront pool. It has to be one of the most awesome condos in all of Kauai.

IF YOU GET ANY CLOSER TO THE OCEAN THAN THIS, YOU WILL BE SWIMMING IN IT.

Experience the South Shore of Kauai at it's best. (Poipu Shores Complex)

Poipu has the best Kauai beaches for swimming. Poipu Beach Park is kid-friendly and best for exploring tide pools, snorkeling, and building sandcastles. You can walk there from the condo.

The condo is upgraded but it's not luxury, it's upgraded to be island style with bamboo and such, it's very nice, very comfortable and incredible location, if luxury is what you're looking for, this is not it, if you're looking for comfort, amazing location, incredible views, romance, privacy and want to watch ocean wild life right in front of your own eyes, this is the condo you're looking for!

Due respect to all guests, there are two types of guests, some guests are coming to Hawaii to have a wonderful time, enjoy the condo and the views, those guests are more than welcome! There are guests who are coming to do property inspection, enjoying a vacation is the last thing on their mind! I don't know of any property that is 100% perfect in every aspect and I don't know of any ocean front property in a high humidity, wet climate, salt air with strong winds like the state of Hawaii that will not have rust here or there or electronics never breakdown! If you are coming to do property inspection rather than have a nice comfortable, relaxing vacation in a nice, clean property with amazing views, please save your money, your time and energy and keep searching for the perfect ocean front property that's perfect in every aspect!

The inside was a bit tight but the lanai and the view made up for it! Turtles upon turtles just swimming right below! Could have sat and watched all day!

Bucket List Trip to Kauai!

Amazing property!!! The views off the balcony can’t be beat. You can see sea turtles all day. The location of this property is great. Minutes from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We loved Poipu beach and see the turtles and monk seals. Communication was awesome with the owner and check in and check out was seamless. Great property!

Beautiful views!

We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the lenai and watching the sea turtles. It is a beautiful condo with a convenient walk to the local beach.

Everything you need!

My husband & I have stayed at many VRBOs across the country. Melodee’s place was exactly as described. It’s so nice to have an owner that will answer emails & questions immediately! As everyone has said, the views are amazing. Watching the turtles up close and the whales in the distance was a fantastic way to spend free time. (Melodee even has binoculars for you to use)Another added bonus was all of the beach gear she provided. Chairs, umbrella, beach towels & a cooler with ice packs made beach going so much easier. The furniture could use some updating, but everything else was perfect!

Great Ocean Views

We stayed nine nights here and the best part was seeing turtles just below us, spinner dolphins and humpback whales every day. The condo was well stocked and comfortable. The parking at the resort was very challenging; very tight spots and not reserved.

Best location ever!

We were very happy with the condo. It wasn't as large or updated as some we've stayed in but it was very comfortable. The location was amazing and we will stay there again for that reason. You're practically right over the water and can hear the waves crashing even with the windows closed. Being able to see sea turtles all the time was amazing and I saw dolphins a couple times. Having the pool right over the rocks and waves was an added bonus. Melodee and Michael were great about communication! We will definitely go back!

Incredible views! The turtles are spectacular and greeted us daily.

This space was perfect for our family of 4! Clean, comfortable and you can’t beat the view!!! Only 1 and 1/2 bath, but we made do. The pool was a beautiful setting and beaches were spectacular! Hated to say goodbye!

Beautiful view

When looking at pictures on-line it is easy to wonder if you are seeing an accurate representation of the property. Here, the pictures do not do it justice. The view from the balcony is simply gorgeous. The condo is located in the heart of Poipu and provides easy access to anywhere you want to go on Kauai. We had a wonderful experience.

Beautiful location

The view is outstanding. Turtles are under your window at all times. At least 10 and often many more. Part of our family saw dolphins once from the balcony. We all saw three eagle rays from the balcony. Location is very convenient. Thanks!

Amazing stay!

My wife and I loved our stay at Poipu Shores. The unit was very clean, nicely updated, and spacious. The location couldn’t have been better for accessing the beaches and shops of Poipu. Our favorite part of the whole stay was the lanai directly over the ocean. We spent breakfast every morning on it and it was perfect. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the crashing waves at night. Melodee was a great host and was very easy to get ahold of. We would definitely stay in the unit again and hope to do so soon.

Wonderful.

Our experience here was great. The unit and grounds were clean and well maintained. It had thoughtful amenities, like insulated cups and pool gear. The condo was comfortable and relaxing. There were no stairs required to access the condo. The pool was very nice. The property manager Melodee was very helpful and responsive. And the setting and view was incomparable. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Kauai stay

Had a wonderful time at this property. The location was absolutely amazing! Turtles in the bay every day. The lanai was perfect for enjoying a meal or just taking in the waves. The pool was a great as well. Listing describes the unit very well. While not large, we had plenty of room for our family of four. Laundry was a plus as was the selection of beach chairs, coolers, toys and snorkel gear. Kitchen needed a few more basics (refill of salt, pepper, oil, etc) but that’s nothing major. Location to the beaches, Old Koala town and shops was perfect. It was an amazing week and can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Accommodations at Poipu Shores

This was our second year at Poipu Shores. But in a different unit. This unit exceeded our expectations. Awesome ocean view, turtle sanctuary, proximity to Brennekes Beach and Poipu State Park. Not to mention restaurant and other resort amenities just a short walk out the door. We were here specifically for relaxation and this location delivered. The pool was very quiet and we enjoyed meeting other like-minded visitors from all over. The unit itself is very well-appointed with all the stuff you need in a home away from home We probably have stayed in 4 to 5 VRBOs each year all over the US during each of the last 5 years and this has been our favorite.

Stellar property, outstanding hosts

I have stayed at several other condos in this complex in the past. This one is really special. The ground level access is super easy from the parking lot, which was handy with my parents recently entering their '80s.Once you walk in, the view immediately hits you, and it is SPECTACULAR. It is nothing but ocean in front of you. You hear it at the same moment you see it, and the steady crashing of waves against the rocks is perhaps my favorite thing about Kauai. We saw numerous humpback whales, sea turtles and even a monk seal in the water right in front of the Lanai. On clear days, we could not look out at the ocean for one minute without seeing sea life. Amazing. What a blessing to be able to experience a stay at this place.It was walking distance to Brennecke's, even for my 80-year-old mom with a 2-month-old new knee. Granted, she is no standard octogenarian lol. We were easily able to explore Hanapepe, the Waimea Canyon, Napali Coast, and more from this location.To top it all off, the hosts were incredible. Communication from start to finish was simple and direct, and I never felt like there was any chance that anything was being missed. It is clear that they know what they're doing, and this is a professionally run property with an unbeatable location and view. I recommended it to a couple that sat next to me on the plane on the way back to Oregon. I have little doubt they will be booking it. Thank you Melodee and Mike for an unforgettable week in Hawaii.

Amazing views!

We had a great time in Kauai and would recommend this condo for the Poipu area. The condo had amazing views of the bay and ocean and we were able to sit on the lanai and watch the turtles surf on the waves! We appreciated the cleanliness of the unit, the air conditioners which were able to quickly cool the space, and the thoughtful welcome gifts. There was also plenty of towels and beach gear. The space was cozy and adequate for our needs. One thing I would note is that there was no soap or shampoo provided (which in and of itself is not a problem) but I just wished it was noted somewhere in the listing so that we would have known to get them when we were at Walmart getting other supplies prior to checking in. Since the place was fully stocked, I inquired about the availability of soap or shampoo, and the host mentioned that I was the first person to ask about these items, so I just wanted to make sure that no one else was surprised since the rental listing doesnt mention BYOS&S (bring your own soap and shampoo) and this is actually the first condo I've stayed at in years that didn't include a bar of soap or bodywash.

This condo was at least as good as advertised. The ocean view was beyond amazing. We saw sea turtles every day while we ate breakfast on the balcony.We plan to come back to Kauai someday and when we do, we hope to stay here again. The location of this condo was perfect! My wife fell in love with this condo.Finally, the owners were very responsive to all of our messages and they were very friendly.

Turtles Turtles Turtles!

We had a great time in this condo. Everyday when we woke up, we would eat breakfast on the balcony and watch turtles swimming! They were pretty cute. Great access to nearby beaches and the pool. Appreciated the beach towels, boogie board and chairs. AC was very helpful. Great access to Netflix and Disney Plus for after the sun went down. Loved it! Highly recommend

Check in/out was easy and owner communicated with us before arrival which was appreciated. Location was great. If you are looking to rent, just know that the condo is old and furnishings tired/worn. Not a great value for the money paid.

Anniversary trip

This property is so amazing. Wild to say but the pictures don’t even do it justice. Great little neighborhood with easy beach access / dining within a half mile or so. Plenty of turtles and saw some Rays out in the water too!
