This was the perfect spot for a family vacation! The direct beach access was amazing and my 2 and 4 year old got onto the sand multiple times a day! Being close the creek was really nice for their age too. Also were able to walk to dinner, grocery, park every day. The home itself was super clean and organized. We would 100% recommend!

Stayed for just one night but found the apartment to be clean and well equipped. Host has thorough documentation on all aspects of the stay and signage to differentiate the rental unit from the other apartments on the property. Know that you will need to walk up a flight of stairs but it’s well lit. Overall the location was good and the views of the coast were beautiful.

This property is a treasure! Our second time staying here. Well-equipped, incredible location right on beach and close to shops/restaurants. Clean and comfortable for our family of four and small dog. Enjoyed the puzzles, coffee maker, easy to use TVs, sand toys and beach chairs. Wonderful, communicative hosts. Thank you! We hope to return.

This property was just perfect for my husband, daughter, son in law and 15-moods grandson! I’ve never seen a better equipped kitchen—fabulous pans!—plus a high chair and pac n play for the baby. Everything we needed plus a stunning beach view and location! We would have rated it excellent, but the breakers kept getting tripped when we used the stove—we finally unplugged everything g in the kitchen to get it to work—and the bathroom sink was leaking, very difficult to turn off. Once the plumbing and electrical are repaired, this place will be excellent! Hosts were very responsive, but we didn’t want an electrician in with a baby who needed to nap!

Sandcastle was clean and cosy with great views of the beach and sea. The location was great with beach access and an easy walk into the town where there were multiple restaurants. Ecola state park is also close by with picturesque hikes and views. Highly recommend and would come back again

We had an amazing time in Cannon Beach, and this property was perfect for our trip. The location is hard to beat, with easy beach access, beautiful views, and everything we needed close by. It was so nice being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and local spots without having to drive everywhere.The home was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. We especially enjoyed the balcony, the beach chairs, and the relaxed coastal feel of the property. It was a great place to unwind after exploring Cannon Beach and watching the sunset.The host made the stay easy, and the property matched exactly what we were hoping for: convenient, peaceful, and right by the ocean. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cannon Beach.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandcastle! The home is in an incredible location, just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance to everything in town. Malia and Arnie were excellent hosts, very easy to communicate with and helpful in answering all our questions. I'd highly recommend their home for anyone planning a relaxing getaway!

5 stars for this wonderful home! We have been vacationing in CB on and off for about 20 years! We have stayed at a plethora of places trying to find the perfect accommodation. The Sand Castle is the one! The location is perfect…on the beach surrounded by wind swept trees with a view of the ocean and Ecola State Park and just a 3 minute walk into town! There are two designated parking spaces for the guests for easy access. Upon reaching the entrance to the second floor unit you cannot help but be in awe of the fabulous view of the beach/Pacific Ocean from the wraparound deck with a table and plenty of chairs. The unit is well appointed and furnished with a dining room table that seats 6! There is a smaller kitchen bistro table with 4 chairs as well. The living furniture is very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable! The bathroom has an overhead heat lamp for after shower warmth! There were plenty of neatly folded seemingly new white towels in a cabinet above the washer and dryer!Upon arrival this unit was very clean, with many kitchen accessories in excellent condition! I cannot recommend The Sand Castle enough! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Arnold and Malia. We had a beautiful vacation in CB staying at your wonderful home!

What a great space to stay in our first ever trip to Cannon Beach! Having the beach right outside our front door was amazing to look at and get to. We could walk right downtown to all the wonderful shops, coffees and foods.

Hello & Aloha from Arnie & Malia Jacobsen. Arnie was born and raised in little Nehalem, Oregon just 20 minutes south of Cannon Beach. Malia was raised in Honaunau, Hawaii in a little town south of Kona. We love raising our daughter Pualani on the lovely Oregon Coast. Our business area includes Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach & Arch Cape. We enjoy walking around the beaches year-round, swimming in the creeks during the summer warmer months, or surfing. Some of our favorite hiking spots are Oswald West and Ecola State Park from Crest beach to Indian beach. Everywhere we go we see someone we are connected to. From going to the post office, grocery shopping, having a meal, or just shopping. Which is why we started our business Kukui House Services here. Kukui means “light” in Hawaiian. Kukui “Light” House Services. We help owners with their rental or private home, and our guests so they experience a wonderful stay. Our clients tell us we are friendly, have quality cleans, and are responsive.
There are so many wonderful aspects of living here and would love to share our experiences with you. Mahalo (Thank you)

Sand Castle is a great family and pet friendly ocean front home in Cannon Beach. We love the laid back and relaxing feel of the home. The view is amazing!! Just steps to the ocean and Ecola Creek via a private walkway through the back yard. Our home is located in walking distance to all the great boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and breweries in Cannon Beach, Oregon. The famous Haystack Rock is just a lovely stroll on the beach away.
