About Kay Tanner
I was born and raised in Hayesville and have lived here all my life. I live approximately 10 minutes away from the cabin. I am just a phone call away if I’m needed by my guests, but I know privacy is important to my guests and I respect that. I am available at all times if they need me. Our little town is filled with wonderful friendly country folks. It used to be a well kept secret then people started coming, visiting and fell in love with it. Many of them chose to live here after visiting year after year. I have traveled some but there is no place like home here in Western NC /North Georgia. I love God, family, country and all people. I have worked very hard to make my cabin comfortable, beautiful inside and out. The cabin is a place for people to come, relax, see and enjoy what we are so blessed with. The peace, serinity, slow paced lifestyle, beautiful people. The scenery you never get tired of seeing we have in and around Hayesville, NC
Why Kay Tanner chose Hayesville
It is the perfect getaway. Honeymoon, anniversary, R&R, whatever you want to do. Very cozy, and private. Reasonable rates. I want to keep it affordable for everyone, to enjoy what we have here in our beautiful mountains. Decorated in wildlife and Native American. Antique cook stove, and cabinet (my dad built when i was a young girl). Also the antique sink in kitchen with a lot of character. I love antiques as you will see.
What makes this Cabin unique
It is only 5 minutes to town, groceries, banks and restaurants. You must go into town on the square and see our historic courthouse, newly renovated back to what it once was. A lot of goings on around the square. Check out our Clay County of Commerce. I have brochures available to read about a lot we have in our little town and nearby. Hayesville is a unique one of a kind little town you can’t help but fall in love with.
