Serenity Cabin is situated along the Big Thompson River at Aspen Brook. Managed by Aspen Brook Vacation Homes with a local property management office, you have the best of both worlds - stay super close to Rocky Mountain National Park, but have the convenience of being just minutes from the downtown village. Aspen Brook is a small community of vacation homes only 2.5 miles from downtown Estes Park and so close to the national park you can walk from your vacation home. Serenity has four spacious bedrooms, two living areas both with natural gas fireplaces, Flat screen Smart Samsung TV's and plenty of space for everyone. Central Air-conditioning and new natural gas furnace. So comfy, you'll be tempted to never leave! Relax in the new deck furniture facing the river and star gaze. With no streetlights, the dark skies make stargazing spectacular. The wonderful salt-water hot tub is on the river facing deck and is a great way to wind down after hiking the park all day!

Amazing!!

We really enjoyed our stay! Tamara made our 10 year anniversary extra special and even went out of her way to get a package to us. The back porch was amazing after a long day! It was fully stocked with everything you would ever need. Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to come back!!!!!

Amazing property, great location

We loved EVERYTHING about this property. We had 6 adults and 2 children and PLENTY of space for everyone to be together, or to have personal space. The kitchen was amazing with how well it was stocked with everything we needed. The view of the river with the running water was spectacular and the patio and hot tub, amazing. Our family absolutely fell in love with Serenity and cannot wait until we visit Estes Park again for a repeat in this cozy, comfortable, and fun cabin.

Perfect Memorial Weekend

This property was the perfect stay for our Memorial Weekend of hiking in RMNP. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus many more amenities we didn’t even think about! Serenity Became our Home Away from Home

This is a beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved having the Big Thompson river flowing through our backyard! The home was warm and welcoming and we had plenty of room. We really enjoyed the wildlife that came around every day. We will definitely stay there again!

Aspen Brook by the River

This is a quiet location where you can listen to the river and star gaze while soaking in the hot tub. It's a short hike away from the Y which was great for the kids. It's also a short drive from downtown. The house itself was stocked with almost anything we needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The showers were warm with great water pressure. The kids enjoyed playing games and with the stuffed animals. Also, there is a small playground on the property where the kids could run around. Tamra was available by phone for any questions. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

We just stayed a week in this beautiful mountain retreat on the Big Thompson River. House was clean, fully furnished and comfortable to be in for a week. Sitting on the deck and listening to the river was peaceful. Tamara was quick to respond with any question and/or request and checked in while we were staying there. Would definitely stay her again.

Riverside relaxation

Incredibly convenient to groceries and Rocky Mountain National Park, the Serenity Cottage was a perfect place for our family of 5. It was a nice touch (and one less hassle) to have the trash bags and dishwasher detergent provided. Birdwatching from the deck and star-gazing from the hot tub are fabulous moments of relaxation after long hikes. If you come, don't miss Cinnamon's bakery or the Himalayan Curry and Kebab restaurant. Coupons for Dave's BBQ in a handout at the visitor center!

Heading to Estes... Stay here!

Serenity Cabin was exceptionally clean and well-represented on the website. We are a family of 6 with kids between the ages of 11 and 20. It was nice to have three floors so everyone had some extra space to themselves after spending the day together hiking, rafting, or shopping. You could easily host a couple of families here at the same time. It is an easy short drive south of Estes (a couple of miles) which makes it very close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP. The Thompson River flowing directly behind the house and the salt water hot tub made this place better than many other options. We saw elk and mule deer crossing the river right outside the cabin. Tamara provided us with quick feedback on our questions and checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. We are pretty picky and we would definitely stay here again! 10/10

HOME!!!!! ,,,, away from home!!

Ten minutes in the door and we were "un-wound" from traveling and felt as if the place had always been ours!!! ,,, everything was in its place including, not one but, TWO Christmas trees!! WoW!!! Great property on the river

We had an excellent time in Estes and this property was a big part of it. Plenty of space for the kids and adults plus having the hot tub to soak away our aches after a long day of hiking or shopping. Property manager was very helpful and did a great job communicating to us before and during our stay.

Great location and well stocked home

We had five adults stay and the home fit everyone well. King size beds in most rooms. A basement with a tv and two couches gave us plenty of space to spread out when needed. The kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked at home quite a bit and had all the utensils and cookware we would need. The hot tub on the deck is fantastic. You can relax and listen to the river right below you. We will stay here again for future Estes trips. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful getaway on the river

My family of 5 spent a wonderful spring break here. The home was impeccably clean when we arrived. Owners were very helpful and always available for any questions we had. Check-in was a breeze. The home was very comfortable with plenty of room for all of us to have our own space but lower level was a fun area to lounge as a family and watch movies and play games in front of the fireplace. Kitchen was well- appointed and had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. Home was in a scenic area close enough to town to be convenient but still feels like you are getting away. We loved listening to the river just off of the back deck. We had everything we needed for a fun week in Estes Park. We found lots of great hiking trails within walking distance of the house and the owners provided us with tons of information on the area that was very helpful. We would love to stay here again next time we visit.

Great location just minutes from town. A peaceful setting next to the creek and deck with a hot tub to enjoy after a day of hiking in the snow. The home was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Enjoyed our time there during the winter storm and would definitely go back. Great communication from the property manager as well. 5 Stars!

James, a professional photographer and Tamara, publisher, long-time business owner and wearer of many hats, decided to continue the tradition started 30 years ago by the developers of Aspen Brook. We have owned and still own a vacation home. It is important to us that we manage homes that are comfortable, thoughtful for the guests and in a great location. After purchasing Aspen Brook Vacation Homes, we feel very grateful to manage Serenity Cabin. This riverside home is the perfect size, has all the comforts of home (and more) and really wonderful owners to work with! You'll love the location, proximity to the national park and downtown, and the feel of being so far from it all! Serenity Cabin has all the comforts - luxury bedding, beautifully decorated, a large riverside deck with natural gas grill, and two living spaces with fireplaces.

What makes this property unique

No overhead power lines, no street lights and wildlife abounds. There are not a lot of places so close to nightlife where you can see wildlife! Both mountain views and riverside views create the perfect setting at Aspen Brook and the Serenity Cabin. You can take a short hike from your stay at Aspen Brook into the national park. Come back to cook dinner on the new Weber natural gas grill by the river, or head to many dinner spots within a 1 mile drive.
