Horrible experience!

Multiple issues including dishwasher not working, no hot water, shower in 2nd bath not working and igniter in oven does not cut off. Took 3 days to get any response from Vacasa only to be told that the dishwasher not working was a known issue which was not disclosed to me at any time by Vacasa! Shower was fixed, blamed hot water issues on complex and had no idea what to do about oven. No further communication received from Vacasa. Have requested a refund!

Great Location and Value

We stayed at this location during a work trip. With easy access to the beaches, the on site pools and shops and restaurant's we would love to come back next year to this amazing place.

Clean property but not for long stay. One set of sheets, no gas in bbq, oven did not work, frig was too cold and froze things, water in washing machine area, pool was in back yard but not open. I could go on. The unit was very nice but had too many issues. We have stayed there at least five times so we know what is expected.

Vacation

Was a great stay overall but location and gated neighborhood was a plus. The people who rented it last left the pilot on to the fireplace and we had to air it out while waiting outside for the gas company to arrive. The place is very nice but could use a little more cleanliness in specific areas as in the jets for the bath in the master bathroom and dusting. Although we had a couple hickups at the beginning i will say it was still a good stay. Vacasa was urgent when responding to issues to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We love our stay in the condo and the only thing was the air conditioner didn’t cool enough for us we would wake up in the middle of the night sweating .

I even called they said someone would be there in an hour pool was never fixed an we were there for 5 days

2 weeks at Gulf Highlands

It was nice having a roomy place to stay. Its only a short walk to the beach and a couple restaurants. I'm not a nitpicker but I will say the unit needs a little TLC. Nothing that would be a deal breaker when considering booking this place.

The are was quiet. That was the best part of the stay. We had no hot water the entire time we were there. The pool was warmer than what came out of the faucet. We had maintenance come and check it and they didn’t have the key to the locked door where the hot water system was, so they had to return the next day. He turned up the hot water tank and it still barely worked. The maintenance man even tested the hot water and said it wasn’t working properly. So my husband, myself and our two guests had to suffer through cold showers every day. A few hours into our first full day we got a call stating that the water main had broke and we had to boil water 3 out of 5 full days that we were there. We were given $100 to compensate for that. The air conditioner was not working when we arrived because the thermostat was not working. We had to replace the batteries ourself and then it took almost 2 days for it to cool back off. But overall not what we expected for a $1200 vacation rental. The location was great it just took us forever to navigate around the property to find the right entrance and then to find the unit itself. A map of the property when someone new is booking would have helped a lot! The convenience of the pool just a few steps from the back door was awesome. I don’t know if it was just the unit we were in or all of the condos but we couldn’t keep the door opened or any of the windows open longer than 15 mins or the air unit and some others things would go into security lock down for two hours.

Panama City Beach Paradise!

The most atmospheric spot in gulf highlands is around the big pool with the beautiful palm trees. It’s so tranquil in the evenings. The house is nice too. New plush carpet upstairs. Huge bedrooms with your own bathroom.

Perfect

We absolutely loved staying here. The unit looks exactly like the pictures. Beds are very comfortable. Nice swimming pool within just a few steps from back patio. Beach access is maybe a 2-3 min walk. Highly recommend.

If we return to PCB, we’ll stay here again 👍

Though it’s an older building, it’s well taken care of and maintained. Pros: 1. Great location: pool and playground right from the patio. Beach-5 min walk 2. Great price!! 3. Huge house even for 6 people as advertised. We were a family of 4, and to our mind, we could easily share it with the same size family. 4. As we cooked all our meals ourselves, we were pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of dinnerware, pots and pans, utensils. I took mine just in case, but I never used them. Also tons of towels in each bathroom!! 5. New carpet. And private washer/dryer!! 6. All attractions, dining and shopping are within 5-10 minutes drive. Cons: Though the place was overall pretty neat, there were really dusty spots (like table lamps, ceiling fans). My kids also found smb’s bra under their bed. And the shower curtain is not white anymore-I would replace it for a fresh one. We also arrived earlier and spent time by the swimming pool. While there, we saw the maintenance team. There were 4 people, 2 young men and 2 girls. It took them 35 minutes to clean the house. So, we were very satisfied with our stay at this place and we’ll definitely come here again. We also recommend it to our friends. And some are trying to book it for themselves. Thank you and be blessed!!

I chose this one because I have seen it before and loved it. Only thing I noticed was some of the rules from Gulf and Vacasa don’t exactly match. Couldn’t start laundry cause no soap. Non room etc. I worked at Gulf And was offered to come back so I wanted to stay and see the place and observe. But we loved the condo.
