Nice villa with fantastic pool
Very nice villa with fantastic view; excellent contact with owner. Great place to spend summer holidays. This was also a good starting point for visiting all Amalfi Coast and Napoli.
You really should see the pool!
Wonderful property with great location
The property was perfect for our needs, and our host was very kind and responsive for us. Couldn't asked for a better place for us, this villa had it all. We felt welcome and I want to thank Leonida for her hospitality towards us.
We enjoyed a wonderful holiday here. The owners were very accommodating and waited up for our arrival which was very late. They also had a lovely mix of local foods ready for us. The location was stunning, high on a hillside overlooking Agropoli, the sea and rolling hills with olive and lemon groves. We could hear the odd sheep or goat and view the fantastic Easter celebration fireworks in the surrounding villages. The villa had much charm and felt like a well loved home with plenty of space and stylish furniture and ornaments. Fantastic location for visiting Amalfi, Naples and the awesome ruins of Paestum. We found a very warm welcome in Italy and we didn't want to leave!
Amazing location, great hospitality
The views around Villa Roberta are stunning. You can watch the sun set over the Bay of Naples. Everything has been thought of in the house: a home espresso machine, Sky TV, air conditioning, really big pool etc. Outside we were pressed by our kind hosts to enjoy the beautiful figs from the many fig trees in the garden, and also the tomatoes and other vegetables which the gardener takes care of. The only downside was that we had a very large electricity bill at the end of the stay - 160 Euros for a two week stay. However, we had been using the air con every night as the weather was so hot. (Also I probably ate quite a few euros-worth of the wonderful figs!) There is so much to see in this beautiful region - Pompeii, Paestum, the seaside, and the Amalfi coast is within reach. Shops are 5 minute drive away.
thanks to being at Villa Roberta and your appreciation. Our desire is to satisfy all our guests and make them feel at home.
We recall that the cost of the electric consoon, the only extra for saving and avoiding blackouts, may sometimes be a bit pricey, but as you yourself have recognized it was an exceptional fact for the great heat which made you use the air conditioners for longer. Usually, electric consumption is about half. However, you have been able to use all the products of our trees and our garden, and also Sky HD on demand free, and the cleaning of the rooms and the pool during your stay.
Thank you for being here and we hope you can still stay in the future.

Very lovely Villa with one of the best views
We spent 2 weeks in this wonderfull villa and I can say it was one of the best villa we have ever been. 2 families can fit easily, there is everything you need, we did not missing anything in the kitchen or other rooms. Everything working well, pool is big and very popular with all of us. The view from villa is magnificent and we loved the beautiful sun set every evening with glass of wine and perfect food you can buy in the nearby shops.
Garden, pool as well as all the other areas are very well maintined, gardener and pool maintanance came several times during our stay.
Sea was very warm, a little wavy during our stay and I have already seen cleaner sea.... but still perfectly OK. Naples, Vesuvio, Amalfi , Pompei, Paestum and other places not far away and really worth visiting.
In short, we were very satisfied and can recommend to visit!
thank you for having been to us and for having enjoyed the stay at Villa Roberta.
I hope I can still see you in the future

A beautiful villa in a gorgeous setting!
We spent 11 days at this magnificent villa, which is generously fitted out like a home, not like some holiday homes which are sparse and empty.
The description in the listing was accurate, and the pictures don't do it justice - it's even more beautiful. The place is immaculately clean, spotless!
The owner is lovely, very gracious.
Would have preferred to not have to pay for electricity at the end of the stay. It should be included in the price. Leaves you wondering the whole time if you are going to be knocked with a huge bill at the end.
The area is beautiful, although the ride from Battipaglia to the house is a turn-off - the road is a one-lane slow-driving road, with gritty towns along the way which are an eyesore. Once you head towards the house it improves.
Agropoli is cute - nothing exciting, but we took trips to the Amalfi Coast, Ravello (!), Pompei and Vesuvius and down south to Palinuro. Definitely alot to see and do.
We very much enjoyed it and recommend it whole-heartedly.
Thank you, for your review. We are very glad that you have so appreciated Villa Roberta. Sorry for your concerns about the additional payment of electricity: it is the first time that one of our guests complain about this, because this little extra is given in terms of rent. It maintains a lower price, especially because typically no more than 50 euro per week and even less if you do not use air conditioners that are present in all rooms. On the other hand, and you yourself have paid a relatively low consumption. It 'a form of incentive to avoid waste of electricity consumption and costs, which would become unsustainable over time for the property. Ensure that Villa Roberta is so beautiful and functional, so richly endowed with all the comforts (over wi fi included in the price also SKY TV) already involves a lot of expenses. So a small contribution to electricity consumption, that everyone can customize how he wants, we did not think anything particularly onerous. We are pleased, however, that you all had a wonderful holiday Villa Roberta.
The villa is situated in a strategic location, allowing its guests to reach, with ease, many places of tourist attraction like the Amalfi Coast, the temples of Paestum, Capri, Ischia, Salerno, Pompeii, the Cilento Coast. It is also the gateway to the Cilento area is world famous for its unspoiled nature, the beauty of the mountain landscapes interspersed with picturesque fishing villages and renowned for its traditional cuisine. The area is also typical for the numerous herds of buffalo and the production of the exquisite mozzarella.
