Great long weekend cabin on the lake.
Great property for a family. The kids loved the Longhorns and were even lucky enough to make friends with a peacock who stuck to them like a puppy, and a snake...although we just held the snake to experience it and then let it go with no intention of having it follow us around like the peacock. The property was larger than we expected which was nice. The fishing was fun, our kids caught their first fish this weekend. Communication with the owner was very easy and he asked multiple times if we were ok or if we needed anything.
If you need lots of space and an easy rental this is a great place.
We had a great time. Cabin was amazing and had everything we needed and more. Property owner was amazing and worked with us when we had to reschedule due to work. We will definitely be back!
Great time all the way
Peaceful change of pace
Property is exactly as advertised. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Has access to Lewisville Lake through a large gated cow pasture. The house we stayed in for two weeks is one of two that are adjacent to one another. The current occupants of the other house were very quiet. Wifi worked fine. Roku streamed shows fine on Playstation Vue or a number of other apps if you're signed up, like Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and Sling TV. Overall, a simple but adequate living arrangement perfect for anyone looking to get away from city life and fancy people.
My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. The accommodations were nice, the scenery was great, and we will definitely visit this place again.
One of our children lives In Denton. We were looking for a place to stay that was near to him but also gave us a country setting for some relaxation. This place was a great answer to that. The great room was large and comfortable. The porch in the back was a great spot to sit and enjoy the spring sunshine while having a staring contest with the long horn steer. We didn’t get to the lake since we were rushing off at times to meet up with our son, but it looked pretty from what we could see. For UNT parents this is about a 25 min drive to the University.
