Review April 2023
Our stay was cut short due to no hot water, home was fairly clean but needs some deep cleaning (mopped floors, dusting/cob webs, surfaces washed). A deep cleaning would hopefully help the smell of “older home” go away too. Bedding needs updating too; has holes in both bed linens upstairs. Good points; large enough to have a family visit with space for everyone; view was beautiful; location is fantastic!

Great location older ski chalet
Overall met our needs. Happy surprise to have three bedrooms but one has totally open upper ceilings so room noise level is high. Hot tub was nice and location is great. Kitchen could use more mixing bowels and cook wear but overall met our needs. Needs updating and TLC but overall good for family with dogs:)

Family get away
Loved the rustic, homey warmth of the property. We were here for a wedding at the resort but wanted family time in a quieter setting. Convenient location. Beautiful scenery. We had a great time.

Property Well Past Prime - Old, Tired, and in Need of a Facelift
This location and home SEEMED ideal… Thank goodness, the bathroom toilets, and floors were clean, even if EXTREMELY worn and outdated. The floors in the main living space and bedrooms were vacuumed, and the refrigerator and hot tub were also very clean…but that is the short list of positives. This entire house needs, at the very least, a DEEP CLEAN and more likely, an entire overhaul. Negatives: Used coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, tea kettle very greasy, counters and table needed unwiped, cabinets - old and sticky. Both propane tanks for the grill were empty. We called Vacasa as soon as we arrived (4:00 pm) to get new propane tanks hoping to grill steaks that night. Although we were told someone would call & replace the tanks soon, nothing. Living room: condition of the furniture was suspect, because everything was so old - it made you wonder if the sofas were clean enough to sit or lay on. The area rug required a deep clean at the very least...or may just need to be replaced. The entry area would have benefitted from some hooks for coats, backpacks, hiking poles, water bottles, etc. -- as a result, our gear just ended up in a heap on the floor. Bathrooms vents were disgustingly dirty -- were so filled with dust that we cleaned them ourselves! Bedroom: cheap mattresses, pillows, and bedding - we made sure not to walk barefoot since ALL carpets are completely stained. We were also asked to drive our garbage into town at end of stay? Lots of potential
Location is awesome. Very peaceful, and the cabin is decent. The cabin was not cleaned very well prior to our arrival. We spent about 5 hours upon arrival cleaning the cabin, washing bedding, and remaking the beds. Vacasa was responsive to our concerns. Not many of the outlets in the cabin are great. Most of them are so loose the plug/charger falls out of the socket. A few of them sparked when we plugged in a lamp. The dishwasher is barely usable. The racks fall out when they’re pulled out to load/unload. The furniture is worn. I think another review described it as college dorm quality, and that is pretty spot on. Very worn and tired. The mattresses could be replaced. Overall, this place has a ton of potential. It doesn’t seem to be cared for or maintained to its potential though.
