Tranquila cabaña con 110 pies de frente al lago en Green Lake en Interlochen. ** Máximo 4 adultos ** El dormitorio principal en el primer piso tiene una cama queen size. Loft de arriba tiene una cama litera y una cama individual adicional. Hay espacio para un pequeño colchón de aire para niños. El sofá desplegable en la habitación familiar tiene un colchón queen para invitados adicionales. Cocina completamente equipada. Ropa de cama y toallas (toallas de baño y playa). Se proporcionan tres kayaks individuales para adultos, dos kayaks para niños y una tabla de remo de pie. Hay un lanzamiento de bote a una milla de la carretera si los huéspedes desean traer un bote y amarrarlo al muelle o amarrarlo al frente (el amarre está en su lugar). Aire central y WIFI. We are return customers and love the lake, the fishing, and stargazing at night. Location is an easy drive to Lake Michigan and all the towns along the coast. Perfect for a peaceful, fun week!

My family and I such a good time. We have 2 kids (7 & 5) who loved jumping off the dock. The water depth is very kid friendly. The cabin was as pictured. More room upstairs than I was expecting, actually. We would definitely book again.

Overall satisfied with our 5 night stay at this small cottage. It was exactly what we needed with lake views, access to kayaks and at a reasonable price point. Plus quick communication from hosts.Only small area for improvement is that it doesn’t seem to be as cool in the upstairs room. So you need to depend on the fans and possibly open windows (Also note: wood stairs are a bit creaky, just in case you’re a light sleeper). I would not let these be a deterrent though and would recommend this location to others :)

We loved our stay at this cozy little house on the lake! The location is unbeatable - just steps to the water with kayaks ready to go. Mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee and that beautiful lake view were pure magic. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and easy outdoor fun.

Owners were very good with communicating and replying to questions! Cottage is a bit rustic as pictured but there are updates throughout. We felt cottage was fully stocked with everything from the kitchen to towels, etc. The beach area didn't look as sandy as indicated, but there were areas of weeds but you could easily avoid those areas. You are close to so many areas to check out and things to do, so location is great! Cottage is down some secondary roads and then a short distance on a gravel road, so if you want the feel of really getting away from it all, this place is perfect! It was very quiet and we only saw 1 neighbor a couple of times and even the lake was quiet for mid-August. The view of the lake just sitting on the couch is beautiful!The bed was super comfy and seemed new. We didn't need the upstairs at all but it looked roomy even with 3 single beds. It was a bit warmer upstairs than down, but owners have several fans in cottage. We would definitely stay there again! Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Leland/Fishtown, Frankfort are all close by and nice to check out.

This home is incredibly peaceful and, obviously, located directly on the waterfront. I was very comfortable there and even though time is always too short on vacation, it began to feel like home. I would definitely recommend.

Property was beautiful and the house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and having beach towels there to use was extremely nice. The kids loved the lake and we all used the kayaks. Great location for day trips to Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We will definitely be back.

Great little cottage on Green Lake

Perfect little cottage! Was great for the kids, nice sandy bottom and great swimming and the kids loved the kayaks and campfires. Thank you again for allowing us this opportunity! We hope to be back again!!

A really nice week!

Good location -- we like to visit Traverse City and the towns like Frankfort on the Lake Michigan coast, which are not too far away. But at night we have the quiet lake and campfire, with good stargazing. Enjoyed paddleboarding, kayaking and fishing on the beautiful lake.

I would not hesitate to say considering the area of the state this price point is very difficult to beat!!! It is cental within 1/2 hour to many locations including Traverse and Crystal lake area. Very clean and everything works properly as described. The owners were outstanding communicators. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone loving water, location, and nice accomodations.Thank You, for the wonderful memories at your vacation home!!!

This place is awesome. Its not dirty its preserved and perfect. Our kids loved it the fishing was great. Communication was good we had a issue with cleaners coming too soon. Hope to rent this place next year as it is amazing.thanks again for us beeing able to stay here

Updates Needed

The location on the lake was beautiful and the neighbors were all very nice. The owner was also very responsive however, the cabin its self needed a lot of updates. The overall vibe in the cabin was dingy and overall feeling of being dirty.

Hi there! I’m sorry you felt this way. As the photos very clearly show, this is an older cottage. Additionally, it is professionally cleaned between guests. If there was something specific that was dirty, we would have sent them back out for you had you reached out.

it was our dream trip back to a beloved childhood place

As kids, my brother and I had spent many many summers at our grandparents' house on that lake. It was and is SUCH a gem and we wanted to relive it since their house is very sadly no longer in the family, and we hadn't been there in many decades. It was a dream to rent a house on the same road, and to take our parents who also had a huge attachment to it as well. It was everything we imagined and hoped for. The owners were wonderful as well and we are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time on the same road and lake right down the road from a place that had felt like home to use our entire childhood.

Nice. Description Accuracte

We had a nice stay at this property. I thought the house was just as described in the listing. The owners were quick to respond to any questions I had. We washed clothes and dishes at night to avoid running out of hot water. The owners were generous with towels and supplies which was refreshing. There were a lot of bugs in the house, especially upstairs were my kids were sleeping so I had to spray them every night before they went to sleep. And this is no reflection of the owners but the lake had swimmers itch, and some of us got it. However, we still made the most of the water by using the kayaks and paddle board provided. And we tried to swim in the deeper water. Overall it was a nice trip.

Hi Amy! Glad you had a great stay. Thanks for letting us know about the swimmers itch. I gave our future renters a heads up. To be clear though, it can happen in ANY lake depending on the conditions. Avoiding super shallow water (near the sea wall) and entering the lake using the ladder at the end of the dock should avoid it. About the bugs, I’m guessing a door was left open because we’ve never had issues with mosquitoes/bugs inside the cottage unless doors are left open.

This was our favorite family trip! The cabin was very clean and cozy and in close proximity to the water. The lake is so clear and warm. Having access to kayaks and the SUP was such a great perk. The host was a great communicator and was quick to answer a couple of my questions. It's about a 25 minute drive to Traverse City and it just a short drive into the town of Interlochen which was really hopping! We would absolutely stay here again. We looked forward to coming back to the cabin after spending time out and about making memories. We woke up early a couple mornings to see the beautiful sunrise. There were a couple loons that were hanging around the lake too and were such a pleasure to listen to.

Great little cabin and location on a lake

We had a great stay at this cabin. The views are FANTASTIC. We would have loved to experience the kayaks, fire pit, and sitting on the deck, but weather prohibited it. The TV didn’t catch many channels and the dirt road needed maintenance, but those are the only small negatives. The owners were available by phone and very responsive. I would highly recommend this place.

Peaceful Fall Northern MI Getaway

The house was as described. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed many hikes and biking in the area. Owners were responsive and great to work with. Definitely recommend.

Exactly what a lake vacation should be. Decent driving distance to all the attractions. Fun lake activities. We enjoyed quite a few of your DVDs and board games.

Great lake experience

Some of the lake’s best fishing is located straight out from the dock, and we also really enjoyed kayaking and stargazing at night. The sunrises from the porch view, or sunsets from the dock view, were great. Close enough to Traverse and Lake Michigan to do fun day trips, too.

Overall Very Good!

Was a good location. Beautiful lake with fantastic sunrises and sunsets. House was good; a comfy stay with plenty of room for our fam of 5. Host was great and very fast with communication. The only downfall was we all got swimmer’s itch. So did our neighbors. The water is shallow all around the dock and beyond, which is great for little ones swimming, yet not great for swimmer’s itch. We tried to prevent with topicals and still each ended up getting it to some degree. This is zero fault of the host of course, yet a bummer and important factor in our overall experience to share.

We purchased our cottage because Northern Michigan is a magical place. We both have such great memories of going "up north" as kids and wanted to make sure our daughter experienced the same. Interlochen is a sleepy little town away from the hustle and bustle of Traverse City, but still close enough to enjoy the shopping and restaurants. It's also a great base for excursions like Sleeping Bear Dunes or a trip over to Fish Town in Leland. In the winter, we ski at Crystal Mountain which is only 12 miles away.
