Easy direct relation is key for us and we try to offer not only a place to stay but also a real assistance to prepare your stay and program the best way. Dear Susan We thank you for the first part of your review but we are obviously surprised with the second part. We know you had an issue at you arrival with the transfer company we suggested to use based on many previous satisfactory experiences of our guests. Emma told us you were furious and we apologised for it although this was not at all under our control. To be transparent we had twice the same issue this year (after 6 years without) and we will no more advise to use it. We know that from time to time some items are damaged are broken (in many cases “it was like this when we arrived”) and we do not always detect everything at check-out or during cleaning. We always ask our guests to inform us about any issue at their arrival and during their stay but curiously you never mentioned any damage during your stay even when Emma came to remove the ping pong balls and playing cards your children did put in the pool table which were blocking it. At the end of your stay we have tried several times to contact you to get some feedback as we do with all our guests but you never answer. Some of your comments might be justified and after each season we use to check everything, replace some items and make all necessary maintenance. However Air conditioning, size of tables, bedroom decoration, … are all in line with our description and pictures on the website. We can understand the style may not meet your own criteria writing that everything is horrible, damaged and need a full replacement might be “a bit” exaggerated and unfair! Isn’t it ? It’s difficult to build a reputation and so easy to destroy it, and a 3 stars review is obviously a very bad one in our activity. Whatever your comments we confirm you were nice guests during your stay, we confirm what we wrote about your group and we wish you the best for your next holidays. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST we have invested a lot this year to improve our offer : solar panels and heat pump for our climate, table football on the upper terrace, 55” Smart TV, high speed fibre internet, new air conditioning in the zen bedroom, modern large table with up to 12 comfortable seats on the front terrace, modern Italian style shower in both Zen and Africa bathrooms, new oven in the kitchen, fully renewed pool table, … and of course replacement of any damaged item as we do year after year. We hope this will answer to all of your remarks and we remain accessible if you wish.
