Fishing trip

Everything was just as advertised. The cabins are small but have everything you need. It was very clean, and every question we had was answered quickly. The property is well kept and had an old time personality. Directions were great and it was easy to find. We fished Lake Gaston and had brought a boat. We didn't get a chance to try fishing in the stocked pond on the property but it looked very fishy and it was well taken care of, with freshly mowed lawn right up to the shoreline(very accessible, a place where kids could easily fish from) the boat ramp, for the lake, was extremely close by and is a good ramp for any sized boat and ample parking. The cabin had a directory they have made with instructions for checkout, maps, and many nearby places of interests, including restaurants, shopping, churches and more. We couldn't have been more satisfied, as it was just what we needed: a comfortable place to sleep, shower, grad a cup of coffee and go fishing!

Rustic cabin. Did have a/c and running water. Furniture needs to be updated. Sofa broke, and mattress in poor shape.

Basic cabin, did not have tv or stove oven but did have microwave., fridge, coffee maker. There was a moderate walk to boats and access to water to fish. Grounds were well maintained.

Five day get away.

With two boys 10 &. 5 it was a great place to get away. Swimming and fishing on the Lake, camp fire, hiking was just what we needed.

We have 15 cabins located in a woodland setting just a 3-4 minute walk to our private beach, boat houses and observations deck where you can totally relax. We love to share our little piece of lake life so everyone can enjoy the simpler way of being outdoors and on the lake.
