To clarify, VRBO serves as a marketing platform, but your reservation was managed directly by The Parrish Collection, which owns the listing and required the signed rental agreement as part of our booking process. Since we processed your payment, we also handled these requirements directly. Regarding the ID verification, our policy requires identification for last-minute bookings to ensure a smooth check-in process. While your reservation was made about 10 days before arrival, this policy was outlined during booking, and we regret any inconvenience it may have caused. We appreciate your stay with us and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again.

Thank you for staying at kahala #121 last month. Yes, summer can be war in Hawaii. So sorry about the ice maker miscommunication. My repairman was delayed in advising me that the part is discontinued and you had written me that you purchased ice trays so I assumed that ice trays were working OK. I am at the condo this week and the ice maker is working but output is not high volume. The frig is only 5 years old so I hate to send it to the landfill. Thank you for your feedback. Patty

Mahalo Amy for your review. While September can be a warm month, we provide standing fans and there are ceiling fans in each room to help cool things down. Additionally, this unit has many side windows, which also let the breezes blow through the unit day and night. We are sorry that it was a little warmer than usual, and we hope to host you again.

Even though the speed limit on Poipu Road is 25 mph and the island typically quiets down at 9 pm, we understand how hearing the cars could be unpleasant for some. We are sorry if the noise disrupted your stay. For next time, we can help you find a unit set further from the road at Kahala or any of our other properties.
