Relaxing time on the gulf coast

We enjoyed our trip to gulf shores plantation. We were so excited to see the rental included free chair rental! This is a major perk for us. We enjoyed cooking in unit in the very well stocked kitchen and the restaurant on site. The unit is a close walk to the beach and pool.

It’s very nice and peaceful. We don’t have nothing negative to say about this place.

We loved the condo. It’s a nice place, loved the view from the balcony. It rained a lot while we was there an we was thankful that there was an indoor pool. Which my kids & grands loved that they still got to swim even though it was raining.

Overall pretty good

Ft Morgan is a very quiet and family oriented beach with beautiful sunsets! We had access to 3 pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor, and 1 outdoor adult swim) as well as 1 indoor hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. I do not recommend this rental to anyone who isn't able bodied. Stairs are steep and the elevator isn't air conditioned. Master bath shower door and sliding glass door are hard to open. Cleanliness was normal. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware. Dvd collection was a pleasant surprise.

Best one yet!

We’ve stayed at the Plantation over a dozen times in the last few years and this is our favorite yet. We would definitely rent this one again. The beach views from master bedroom and balcony are way better than in the pictures. You’re very close to the boardwalk and easy access to the pools. The indoor pool is a plus (but be warned - the water is freezing!) and there’s a hot tub and sauna there as well. The beds were comfortable enough. This condo comes with free chair rentals and that was an amazing perk! Everything you need in the kitchen to cook any meals you need. The back door is tricky but we figured out that if you pull the door to you while pushing up on the lock then it will open. One thing we didn’t like that doesn’t have anything to do with this particular condo but the pool for this building is 21+ only which is kind of annoying for us with kids. Overall, we love this condo and will be back!!

Disappointed

Our saving grace was being on the beach. The beds were hard as a rock (with an eggshell bed topper in the master). The power went in and out the entire stay. The sliding storm door was broke. The shower arm in the master was broken - had water spewing from the arm. The power outlet was coming out of the wall in the master bath as well. The pull out sofa bed is on its last leg…one wrong move and the springs were popping out. Missing the remote in the guest bedroom.

Great stay

The place was super cute and nice. Loved the short walk to the beach and the 21 and over pool. We did not like the kids running up and down the hallways, it sounded like they were coming thru the ceiling. Overall we did have a great stay.

Gulf shores condo

The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. No one came to clean the entire time. We left the rental cleaner than it was left to us. I tried to reach out to Vrbo many times with no luck. The condo itself is lovely. Right on the beach. The beach was amazing!

Perfect location

Loved loved loved the location, not a floor level so the view wasn’t blocked in any way and only one flight of stairs if you don’t take the elevator. Very close to the broad walk and pool for my 80 year old MIL to be able to get out and enjoy too. Best of all, not overcrowded even on 4th of July.

Fun at the Beach

The Plantation property we rented for five nights was great! It was easy to get to the beach or the pools on foot, and we were close enough that if we had forgotten anything at the condo, it wasn't a big deal to go back for it. The condo itself was just the right size for us and our two teenage granddaughters ... they had their privacy and we had ours. The kitchen had everything we needed, the a/c was great, laundry was just around the corner, and there was great wifi and TV accessibility. Far from the business of Orange Beach, but not too far that we didn't go out for lunch over there a couple of days. Would definitely rent this unit again.

This home was lovely. Had everything you could need or want for your stay. Extensive kitchen inventory with nice pans! The only constructive criticism I could think of is the sliding door to the balcony needs replaced. It would get stuck and at one point I was locked out because I could not get the door open. My husband however had a great laugh and once he let me inside I laughed too. We will be booking again if this condo is available for our next family vacation!

The decor was so attractive and comfortable bed and pillows. We had a great time. Yhe first day a man knocked on our door saying he was from Vacasa to fix dishwasher.. We did not let him in because Vacasa had not told us he was coming. The air conditioning didn't work for the last day and we did not know how to contact anyone. My suggestion is better communication. We will stay again and hope that is improved next time.

Good accommodations.

Close to water. Owner is a good American entrepreneur. Issues: The back door is a sliding glass door and very difficult to keep in the track and open and close. No light or fan operating in master. Other than that it was just fine and clean

Family vacation

Home was very nice & cozy. Awesome view & the pool area & beach was practically right outside our door, took 1 flight of steps & your @ the pool. This was very convenient for us, the kids swam every single day & we were able to watch them from our balcony the beach is also just steps away. We will be staying here again! 5 stars EASY!

Great View

Condo was very accommodating. I have no complaints about the condo. We’ve vacationed at Plantation Shores for years because it’s family friendly. However, the family based clientele seems to have dwindled with the younger generation taking over. The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was very close to the boardwalk and laundry facilities. I would stay there again.

May Getaway

Great condo. Everything you could ask for and needed for a great stay. We got this at a great price. The complex this is in has some great pools. Ppl should remember staying at this condon gets you into all the pools. Might be a small walk to the other side but was less crowded pools over by the newer parts. If i had to just say something negative it would be the tvs in the rooms are kinda small. Didn't really have time to watch tv ( why would you when you have a great balcony to chill on ) but im sure it couldn't hurt to toss some bigger tvs. Also the light outside the bedroom by the walk way bleeds into the shades kinda bad. Dont think you can turn that light off. If so we couldn't find it. Maybe get some black outs for that window or somthing. Also ppl should remember to stock up if they dont plan on going back to town. Little stores nare money happy. Thanks for the great stay.

Very familiar with the area and resort. It's an older building, but still an incredible beach and has very nice pool areas and common spaces. The condo was nice, no issues besides a light and ceiling fan not working in room, which obviously we could live with. Would definitely good back.
