About Gil and Lori Green
Lori and Gil Green have owned this property as a second home since 1991, and have continually updated the cozy unit. They have owned Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute in St Pete Beach since 1985, presenting continuing education seminars to physicians, sonographers, and medical professionals.
Gil and Lori Green purchased this Condo in 1991
Why Gil and Lori Green chose Placida
Lori and Gil Green have owned this property as a second home from their busy professional life up the coast in St. Pete Beach. Over the years this small complex of eight unit owners has become a convenient and tranquil place on the island for all the owners and guests alike. We drive off the ferry, unload the SUV, and enjoy our time either in the Gulf just across the street, in the freshwater pool, or in our boat from the boat slips 30' from our porch. It's really the best of all worlds on this special island. We have all the comforts of home that a small group or family would need.
Pool / Spa
Sports & Adventure Activities
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely unit.
We found the unit very well decorated, with a very nice kitchen. We also liked the fact that there was a half bath for the master bedroom, loved the sliders that opened all the way to the deck looking over the inner coastal. The deck below was a fun place to hang out as well and LORI and Gil provide bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and laundry facilities. We loved the pool area and swam almost every day. Our only suggestion would be that the association improve the stairways and decking leading to the units. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return!
Thanks for your great feedback! We are actually planning to replace the lower stairs next month after all the visitors are finished. Hope to have you thaw out from Canada next year again! Gil
Had a great time again! We’ve been coming to the island for 9 years now and this was our 2nd time at this house. Nice location on the island and perfect for our family. :)
We enjoyed being surrounded by peacefulness. Enjoyed walking on the beach every morning looking for shells and teeth. Riding the bikes all over the island. Kayaking off the back of the property. It was too windy during daytime to spend sitting on the beach instead we sat next to the pool and enjoyed the sun.
This is a great place to be away from crowded beaches and to have quality family time!
relaxing private getaway
We loved our stay in this comfortable home - comfortable beds, private and quiet, quick easy walk to the beach, lovely private pool...we would definitely stay again!
Thanks! We are always looking to upgrade our guest's experience! Hope to see you back. Gil and Lori Green
Had a great time!
Great location. Had fun on the beach and paddling the kayak. Would love to visit again! Go Gators.
Great Island Getaway
This is a unique little island with quaint Florida charm. The condo was perfect for the two of us, but could easily accommodate 4. Updated kitchen and bathrooms, with a nice outdoor shower as well. Walk to the beach, or canal from this unit and be sure to take a ride down to Rum Bay restaurant for great service, food, and drink specials.
