The property is in a perfect location! Easily accessible to the city! The binder in the apartment features info on the local markets which was helpful. The accommodations are a bit rough and need some repairs but looking past them it was worth the centralized location.

Our stay was excellent! The apartment was just as described and we really appreciated the air conditioning. There was coffee and tea available and we enjoyed the nespresso machine. Our son really loved the loft area. Great central location and excellent communication by host.

Location could not be better!

This is a delightful, spacious and comfortable flat in the center of town! We had a girl’s weekend with mothers and daughters and found the space to be lovely and inviting. Prior to our arrival, Ms. Goli was incredibly helpful and replied very quickly to all our questions. We were met with smiles and perfect recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend this spot for your visit to the enchanting Aix - hope to return before too long!

Très contents du séjour, nous avons voyagé en groupe durant un week-end. Le lieu est calme, les chambres ont une bonne literie et suffisamment sombres pour dormir le matin. Henri a été arrangeant et sympathique. Nous recommandons !

We made this lovely apartment our home base for more than 20 days of exploring Aix and Provence. The location is its best feature; right in the middle of the old city, everything is literally steps away. The regional train station is a 10 minute walk away, and we used that to explore Marseilles, Cannes, even further. Check-in was easy, and Henri is supper communicative and easy going. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals with amazing ingredients from the market (again, just steps away), and the two bedrooms are private and one features a loft that our 9 year old loved. If you’re working from abroad, the wifi is fast enough for meetings, etc!

Hope to return!

This apartment was the perfect home base for our trip. Located in the middle of the shop and restaurant filled old town, we could walk everywhere! The owner was very prompt in her communication and was incredibly helpful with a lost item. She went above and beyond! It was really nice to have two bedrooms with large, comfortable beds and a relaxing living room and kitchen. The TV and air conditioning were easy to use. We also took advantage of the provided iron and hair dryer. We had a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this apartment to explore Aix!

Great Location

This was comfortable apartment in a great location. It had the basics as far furnishings and accessories. It was close to shopping, groceries, restaurants and transportation. We enjoyed being in the heart of the activity, but something to note, the nightlife can go a little late and be a little loud, but if you don't mind that it's a great place to stay.

Not eXcited about this Aix apartment

3rd Floor walk-up in old building. Center of the old city, in a great location. But beware: not car accessible, 6-8min walk dragging bags through town from car park. Clean and well appointed kitchen; spotty WiFi; no smart TV, 2br apartment with no frills, 1 bathroom (w/tub) and space for 5 (double, double plus single in crawl-in loft). Awkward layout if not one family (2 couples wouldn’t be comfortable with layout). Property manager reached out early, but was less than helpful when we arrived with 2 kids (and 6 bags) who were staying only one of our three nights before going on to summer camp. Drag and haul bags through the maze of old town in … and out again at the end. All in all, it was OK. Kitchen appliances and washer/dryer were quite good; but this was not a place we would recommend nor revisit. Look for better place / higher rated host in same part of city of able.

Great apartment

We stayed for 2 nights. Christina met us at check in and oriented us to the place. Very beautiful historic apartment in the historic quarter on a pedestrian only street. Parking is 450 meters away, easily walkable if you have a car. Beautiful floor tiles, height ceilings and A/c in every room. Washer/dryer- we didn’t use. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you

Beautiful place, most central location

We loved our stay in the center of Aix-en-Provence.. communication and and check-in were top notch. Beds very comfortable, lovely high ceilings, very nice gathering space. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Elegant apartment, great neighborhood

This 3rd floor apartment is in the heart of the Old Town, on a lively street and within walking distance of the major attractions. The furnishings and appliances are new. comfortable, and well-lighted. We were greeted by the pleasant manager, who was ready to all about the place and the environs. Our stay was enjoyable.

Beautiful apartment perfectly located in historic Center Ville with wonderful hostess.

This is a beautifully renovated apartment in a perfectly located area of historic Aix Center Ville. Lovely, very clean and surprisingly chic! The living room is very comfortably appointed with leather chairs and couch over classic aged tiles, providing a wonderful contrast of old Provence and modern decor. We prepared many meals in Muriel’s gorgeous kitchen, since it was so spacious and easy to work in. The bathroom was lovely as well. Both bedrooms were very large, with comfortable beds. One bedroom has an additional loft with two twin mattresses that would work well for kids or an agile couple who can manage a narrow staircase. Very nice optional space! The high ceilings provide a spacious feel, making it easy to spend many relaxing hours in the apartment. For the stair-challenged, there are over 40 steps to the unit, but the stairway is wide with a good railing (but no elevator). There are many cafès, restaurants, stores and food markets within a block or two, and even a gluten-free place right outside the front door, for you gluten-challenged folks. We spent a wonderful week at Muriel’s. She was a great hostess, as was Christina, her Charming Assistant, who greeted us and gave us excellent suggestions for shopping, parking, and walking Aix. We loved the entire experience and will make every effort to stay at Muriel’s place when we return to Aix. We consider it “our home in Aix”. Merci à vous deux, Muriel and Christina, for a wonderful stay in Aix.

I highly recommend this new spacious clean neat and comfortable apt in the heart of the old town walking distance to everything . The kitchen appliances are brand new and wifi is excellent . It's located on a pedestrian only street with lots of restaurants and shops and access to the daily markets so parking is a challenge . If you do have a car best to put in a nearby underground parking garage but absolutely not necessary while visiting this lovely historical town . We would definitely stay here again

Nice property, well equipped and in a great location.

My family and I had a great week in Aix; we chose this property as we are very familiar with the town and knew the location was perfect! In terms of the interior, the property is "compact", but plenty big enough for 4 to 6 people. The galley kitchen is well kitted out, with good space to prepare food and a dining table for 6. Appliances are all quite new and functioned well. The lounge is a reasonable size with very comfortable seating, big windows, "cable" TV and A/C. The bedrooms follow suit with plenty of space/storage, comfortable beds/bedding and A/C. A little street noise, but that's to be expected in the town centre. Perhaps only the toilet and bathroom let the side down in terms of size, but again for a typical town centre apartment that's normal. There were a few niggles with one A/C unit, some lights and the washing machine, but these were pretty minor and didn't detract from the overall experience. I definitely recommend this property for itself, its location and value for money!

Well, thank's Jason for your comment, important to improve the qualitiy of the apartment. About a few niggles with one A/C unit, some lights and the washing machine, I suppose it was a problem of good understanding from your part because electricity has been totally renewed and after checking, no problem has been found. So, I think the best is to ask us in case of difficulties. Best. Muriel

A wonderful and modern apartment in the heart of Aix-En-Provence

We stayed three nights at this fabulous and comfortable apartment. It is in the heart of Aix-en-Provence near wonderful restaurants and shops. The apartment is on the second floor and there is no elevator. The apartment is very comfortable. The owner is an architect and the kitchen had a beautiful backsplash which she had refinished herself. The living room is exactly as pictured with modern furniture. We came with our two older children, each had their own bed as there is a loft where an additional person can sleep aside from the two bedrooms. We used this apartment as a base to explore the markets, restaurants, Cours Mirabeau and nearby museums. You do have to park your car in lot which is about $25 euros per night. My only recommendation for improvement is that the owners send an email a week prior to arrival with instructions of where to park, how to get the key, and where to throw the trash at the end of the stay. A lot of construction was going on and will continue until 2018 where Cours Mirabeau was closed so we had difficulty driving near the apartment without instructions. But other than that, the owners were lovely and accommodating; we very much look forward to staying in the apartment again.
