Come join us on our private ranch for a vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will be staying at the cottage at Blissful Owl Ranch, our 112 acre horse ranch located just 15 minutes from Ocoee, TN, McCaysville, GA and 25 minutes from Blue Ridge, GA. We are in the heart of the Cohutta Wilderness with hiking, white water rafting, zip lining, and tubing within minutes, and with horseback riding on site. By choosing our location you will be close to all the activities you come to the mountains for, with the peaceful and serene setting of our ranch. We offer hourly trail rides through our beautiful mountain trails - complete with stream crossings and mountain views of 3 states. Packages are available for staying/riding. You can see all of our horseback riding offerings at BlissfulOwlRanch . com Our country cottage sits on a large pond where you will be able to see ducks, turtles and frogs as well as an abundance of bunnies. Swimming or boating is NOT allowed, however, there is a large hot tub you can relax in while listening to nature. The master bedroom located on the first floor has a queen-sized bed and in-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The two bedrooms upstairs also have queen beds with queen trundles that can be used to sleep children in your room if you don't mind sharing (can sleep up to 12 in beds). The upstairs bathroom is shared and has a shower/tub combo. The open layout includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and family room with TV, satellite and dvd player, and fireplace. There is a half bath and a mudroom with a washer/dryer. If you are looking for peace and quiet with access to all the great outdoor activities available in the area, this is the place for you. *Wifi and cell service is generally available, but can be spotty

Everything was fine...the only issue we had was the water. Not sure if it had sulfur in it or what....but it really smelled awful.

After Christmas getaway

Home was large and very accommodating for our party. Our family very much enjoyed their time there we even got to do the horseback riding. Our only wish was the Wi-Fi allowed for streaming so that rambunctious children could be able to watch tablets or play their games in the evening. But it was nice to kind of be away from the hustle also and get to explore the beautiful property and the surrounding towns home had everything we needed.

Beautiful and Romantic Cabin

We when for thanksgiving day and it was amazing. We love the privacy.and we really appreciate it. No neighbors, just horses and a beautiful lake

Photos are old and misleading

I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and upkeep on the property. The photos were obviously taken many years ago when the cabin was new. It definitely needs a good disinfecting/cleaning. Exterior windows haven't been cleaned in years so the view was pretty gross. The pond isn't kept up and is overgrown with vegetation. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Birthday Trip with friends

The place looks exactly like the Pictures. The only thing I would say is there was spotty internet/phone service, had there been an emergency there was no way to contact anyone for help (we had 6 people staying with various phone services and none of were able to make a call or text). Also the dryer did not work for us during our stay hopefully it was a miner fix. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Get get-away

It was such an amazing place to get away for a weekend with our children! Everything was clean and all the accommodations were wonderful! The hot tub was great and the children loved the pond! Would highly reccomend this beautiful place!

Overall it was a great place, only thing was the water had a strong sulpher smell. I would definitely book and recommend Blance Manor to anyone.

Rafting trip

The cabin was exactly what we wanted. It was secluded but a very up to date cabin. Only problem encountered was anyone who had AT&T phones had no service. We rode horses and rafted and this was a great place to stay

Out in Nature

We have been to this cabin 3 times and every time we enjoy the stay. It was clean and there were horses in the front yard.There were also cats that would come every day to the door to play with us. we had an issue with the Grill and it was resoltthe same day. Thanks for making our stay special.

Peaceful Setting

We took a group of friends for a total of 11 adults and kids. We had an amazing time! The kids loved walking to the fence and feeding the horses! We saw deer roaming the fields behind the pond, ducks flying into the pond, and the squirrels all around. We also went horseback riding and the everyone loved it! We enjoyed local shops which are only a few minutes from the cabin. Just know - it's a dry county so stop in Blue Ridge and pick up whatever you need first! The hot tub was fantastic and the kids loved making smores in the fire pit. We truly hated to leave!

No wifi, but great house

NO wifi/streaming/apps/googling local info for the whole stay and our Verizon service was very weak (call/text, sporadic emails). Spacious clean house, easy to find, plenty of blankets and towels. Bring your own games, dvds and TP. DISH only option and downstairs only. Large hot tub and fire pit areas. Would return if wifi issue can be improved.

Lack luster

Pond was not like picture. Planned trip to fish with grandkids since grandpa just was diagnosed terninal and to sit around fire.pond was not maintained and full of algae etc so no fishing. Sitting around fire pit with all family in the cold and could not even have a fire. Beds too small and all squeeked every time you moved. ALL beds. Chairs in dining room so uncomfortable, playing cards was not enjoyable because all uncomfortable. Rocking chair on porch squeeked horribly . We are a flexable family and have never given a negative review butvif you arec going to rent out a cabin put some effort in making it as pleasant and cozy for your guest as possible. Fence around stable, shabby at best and horse in poor health was upsetting to our guest. Cabin really over stated in pictures and advertising. 35 yrs of marriage and many many cabin rentals, this was the least enjoyable. Even younger ones didn't sleep well. Replace beds, umprove seating, clear the pond and clean up property.

Guys weekend trip

My Brother, best friends and I stayed at the cottage this weekend and had a really good time! It is very quiet and peaceful there. The horses being next to us was really cool as well. Overall it was a great experience but there were a couple things that could have made it a lot better. The pond was definitely not fishable because it was covered with clovers and weeds. And the WiFi didn’t work at all. You don’t get any cell phone signal in the house and very minimal outside you have to be standing in the right spot for it to pick up signal. But the house was really nice and roomy and it does have Dish Network so that was great. The hot tub was really big and worked with no issues. There is also a fire pit by the pond that was nice as well. If you are looking to get away from the city and want some peace and quiet this is the perfect place for you! I would definitely recommend it to anyone we all had a great time!

Could have been better

The house is very pretty and has plenty of room. It’s a beautiful setting and very relaxing. Well stocked with everything you may need for your stay. The grass was almost knee high, definitely needed to be cut before our arrival. The pond needs to be cleaned and/or maintained, would not recommend fishing in it as it is. The hot tub was dirty. Dirt and debris from the surrounding trees floating in it and when we turned it on a nasty, yellow, smelly froth formed on top of the water. The water has a very strong sulfur smell. I understand having a high mineral content and being on well water, but there are steps you can take to help the situation.
