The house was in a great location on playa grande. The pool was great too. The location was not what we thought as the pool is actually in rear of property with no view of water. However, it was a great amenity to have. The house has more of a glamping feel as there is no dishwasher or washing machine but you can have housekeeping do your Laundry for a fee which was great. We also loved the massages the host lined up and we had the chef cook a few times which was also a nice addition. Would definitely come back. We loved how the hermit crabs would walk on the house and sometimes we found them in the shower. It felt very authentic Costa Rica.

Perfect spot for friends and family gathering

An amazing property for large groups in Palm Beach estates. Manfred and Ana are great hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.

Fantastic stay in Casa Guayacan for our group of 14 over Christmas. The house was spacious and perfect for a large family. The concierge was incredibly responsive and arranged everything—private surf lessons right in front of the house at sunset (a highlight), excursions, transportation, groceries, and three delicious cooked dinners. We loved enjoying the sunset from the beach every night. Stress-free, special, and highly recommended.

Ideal for surf retreat

lovely beach chic property with amazing pool, great cleaning and cooking staff. lovely people who are quick to respond to your needs. This is my second time using this property to host my surf retreats, and the guests absolutely love it.

Amazing retreat space right on the ocean

Beautiful & magical property!

We had our small wedding here and it was truly magical! The property is gorgeous and is steps from the beach. Our family and friends had a wonderful experience. The host, Manfred, was very communicative and helpful throughout our planning process and we are very grateful.

Family vacation

We had 27 members of our family stay for the week. The location was amazing on a secluded beach and close to town. Accommodations were comfortable. We had the cooks fix a few of our meals when we weren't out on adventures. A great place.

Family getaway

Perfect size and setup for a family group of 7 adults and 5 kiddos. Great location - steps away from the beach and a quick walk to take the panga boats across the estuary into Tamarindo. Beautiful private pool. Hosts are super responsive for any issues. Make sure to bring cash if you are working with the hosts for groceries / meal prep (which is highly recommended - food was amazing!).

Amazing location. Kids and adults

Our second time back to the property. We love this beach- its perfect for adults with a beginner surf break and kids to run around and boogie board. The sunsets were incredible. We hired cook for meal- Vero and Rosa- we loved them and everything they prepared for us. This is a special place!!!

Wonderful private beach getaway

We loved our time at casa guayacan. The concierge was wonderful and helped us coordinate everything we needed with the personal chef (who we also loved) - and all staff was friendly and responsive. The place itself felt so private and the pool and space around it incredibly relaxing and safe, which was important with two kids under 3. Would definitely return!

Lovely property for a group trip and elopement

Women's Retreat

I hosted a women's movement and healing retreat and this place was perfect!! It was super private and serene. Our house chef, Alcira and her mom cooked every meal for us and the food was incredible. Manfred, the home owner, was responsive to our every need before and during our stay. Highly recommend this beautiful and unique property and location.

Best retreat space!

My organization puts on cancer survivor retreats, and we decided to try Casa Guyacuan. It worked so well for our group! What a tranquil, quite, sizable place. The staff was there for anything we needed, and we felt very taken care of. We will continue using this location!

Amazing location on fantastic beach

We brought 28 people to stay for fun and play and boy did this property not disappoint! We rented out both parts of the property- double the fun. The property was well kept, communication on WhatsApp with house manager and staff was seamless. The beach is private with little traffic, the softest sand and great waves to catch. The pools were fantastic and the houses and bungalows were perfect for our guests. Would stay at this location again.

Beautiful Property on Unique Amazing Location!

Absolutely gorgeous location! Beach feels almost private with great waves for surfing and boarding. House is great for big groups, staff is very supportive and responds quickly to all needs! Estuary is short walk and boat rides to Tamarindo are super easy! Living space is open air so it is warm but the bedrooms stay very cool and comfortable! Pool is awesome and grounds are well kept. Highly recommend this house!

Family Fun

A perfect location for a family vacation! We were a family if 9 adults and 9 children ages 3 to 13. We all loved the beach enjoying the shell hunting and playing in the waves. The sunsets were spectacular! The pool is large with plenty of room to play. We had breakfast and dinner prepared by Alcira and team. The food was great and so graciously prepared.

Wedding Weekend

The location and amenities were more than perfect for our wedding weekend, and everyone at the facility was incredibly helpful with little details such as water and electricity. Cabo Velas was truly a magical place for our big day! It was the perfect spot to show our family from the US what authentic Costa Rica is really like! Great Location

We rented both properties for our large group of 32 guests and had plenty of room for everyone. Manfred was great at answering my msg's before and during our trip. The chef service was wonderfully delicious. The only think I would change is adding more meals. The grounds staff was friendly and attentive. Honestly, I can't say enough about our stay. We would book this again.
