This is the best-equipped apartment I have ever stayed in. The kitchen has a well-stocked coffee bar with Kcups, teas, spices and sugar cubes. Freezer was filled with ice. Lots of dishes/cooking supplies/utensils. A cupboard in the bedroom has art supplies if you feel the urge to capture the view. They've lost one of the trees out front so the view is even better although the sun is more intense. There are lots of blankets and throws for sitting out on the deck stargazing. The apartment sits above a coffee/ice cream shop. A train track is across the street and they do run often but not that loud. and who can resist waving to engineers, counting cars and admiring the graffitti.

The property is cute and quaint. While the inside is relatively small, it has all of the amenities and charm you could want. The deck is the highlight. We stayed out there for hours and watched as the river, boats, and trains went by. We could feel the pace of life slow down just being there. At the end of our two night stay, we didn't want to leave.

We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the country, this property was by far the most well-appointed and functionally well-designed. We would rebook this property again for sure. We highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time!

Very nice neighborhood and fun just to walk around and see all the houses and shops. Close to parks and lakes. Our hosts were very accommodating and got me a pan I needed for a dish I wanted to make. I would love to come back some time!

Friendly, Clean, and Quiet

We loved this spot. Check in was super easy and the kitchen was even stocked with essentials which we really appreciated. This place feels more like a home and less like a rental. We were nervous to stay without any reviews on VRBO but the host is a super host on Air BnB and couldn't have been friendlier. Plenty of street parking available.

Thank you, Em! You could not have been a more perfect first guest on VRBO! And as mentioned, down the line, we plan to build a rooftop deck off the back sunroom (2nd bedroom), but no date on when that will be. Please come again anytime! ~ Marya and Ken
