An amazing property with super kind hosts

We truly enjoyed our most recent stay. The pool and hot tub were a bonus. The lay out of the property allowed us to feel at home. We would most definitely recommend the home for those wishing to explore Madeira.

Unhappy Customers

Everything about the inside of the property is perfect. The issue with our stay was outside. First 2 nights we had very little sleep due to barking dogs. 8.00am on the 4th day we were woken by the workmen at the opposite property hammering and this continued through the day. The next day 9.00am prompt the builders started drilling with a Jack hammer. We decided to go out for the day to avoid the noise. Only to find on our return the noise was still going on. We decided to move to another property in a much quieter location. Which we had to book and pay at a extra cost. I asked for a refund for the days we were not going to stay. The owner and the host’s attitude was no one else has complained and basically wasn’t interested. I am aware building work & barking dogs does happen. But we booked the property in January 2023, I pointed out to the owner she could of notified us of potential noise. We could then have made our own mind up wether to stay there. Again the reply was no one else has complained. I went back to the area 2 days later to video record the proof for Vrbo. The builders were still Jack hammering at the site. I am sure people have been lucky with no noise. Unfortunately we did have an issue. But the owner just shrugged her shoulders and wasn’t bothered.

Eine tolle Unterkunft!

Das große Haus mit Pool ist sehr schön und groß und prima auftgeteilt. Die Einrichtung ist schick und modern und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Unsere Gastgeber wohnten in der darunter gelegenen Wohnung. Es sind sehr nette Leute, die uns Ausflugstipps gegeben haben und für alle Fragen zur Verfügung standen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und schicken nochmals viele Grüße nach Madeira!

Gerne genutztes Haus mit Pool und Jacuzzi

Wir wurden freundlich im Casa Agapanthe empfangen. Die Ansprechpartner waren fast immer persönlich vor Ort und stets gut erreichbar. Die Ausstattung des großen Hauses könnte man als eine Mischung aus Moderne und Landhausstil beschreiben. Für uns war es sehr entspannend. Besonders Pool und Jacuzzi haben wir gerne genossen. Allerdings mochten die Ameisen das Wasser des Jacuzzi ebenso gerne wie wir. Mit Insektenbesuchen ist in der ländlichen Lage des Hauses zu rechnen. Trotzdem vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. We were warmly welcomed at Casa Agapanthe. The contact persons were almost always personal on site and always easily accessible. The equipment of the large house could be described as a mixture of modernity and country house style. It was very relaxing for us. We especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. However, the ants liked the water of the jacuzzi as much as we did. Insect visits are to be expected in the rural location of the house. Nevertheless, thank you very much for the nice time. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig am Hang oberhalb von Calheta gelegen mit Sicht auf das Meer. Ist ein super Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Der beheizte Pool ist wunderbar. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Lionel ist ein sehr guter Vermieter und bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Madeira ist eine traumhafte Insel und wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte mal dort.

Traumhafte, ruhige Lage und äußerst geräumige Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Straße, 100m von einem sehr kleinen Krämerladen und einer Wein-Bar entfernt. Von der Terrasse aus sieht man aufs Meer. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und stilgerecht eingerichtet. Der Pool und der Whirlpool, sowie die Grillstelle mitsamt Esstisch sind das Tüpfelchen auf dem i der Anlage. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie haben an alles gedacht, was den Aufenthalt zu einem vollen Erfolg macht.

Que du bonheur

Superbe logement avec vu sur la mer dès le réveil, accueil parfait, très calme, nous y reviendrons durant l'année car un coin de verdure et en préparation ainsi que la piscine et le jacuzzi apparemment dès cet été.
