This charming, one-bedroom, one-bath ground level apartment is just a stones-throw from Forsyth Park! Comfortable furnishings with a modern flair will have you “living like a local” on the Historic District’s famous Gaston Street. Located just a block away from beautiful Forsyth Park, this updated apartment is the perfect retreat for two or four Lucky guests.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a open space that offers a beautifully renovated galley kitchen, modern furnishings and a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can enjoy breakfast from the comfort of your home-away-from-home. The dining area is open to the living area, which offers a comfortable couch, and a large flat-screen TV. The bedroom has a Queen bed, and lots of closet space so you can settle in during your stay. The bathroom has a large tiled walk-in shower, and a lovely vanity where you can get ready for a night out on the town.

Savannah’s top eateries, including 700 Drayton and Clary’s, are all within a five-minute walk from..... Spend some time browsing the antiques at Alex Raskin’s, or tour the famous Mercer-Williams House on nearby Monterey Square. Perfect spot for a couple or single traveler. Not smack dab in the middle of all the action but an easy walk to everything. Being right across the street from Forsyth Park was great for morning strolls to get a good coffee and breakfast, not to mention the weekend farmers market. The apartment was clean albeit small. It had everything one would need. It was very quiet for a good night’s rest after exploring the city. Having parking was also a huge bonus.

The place was clean had everything we needed. It was very convenient to all of the things in the Historic district. The coffee pot wasn't working and they were quick to replace it. The only negative I could see is the bed and the sofa were quite uncomfortable. But other than that, it was a great experience.

Not a Property for Seniors

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cushions on the couch dropped down into the hidden bed platform when you sat down. That meant you sank to the level of the frame, which was uncomfortable and extremely difficult to get out of. And there were only bar stools to sit on. No chairs in either the living space or the bedroom. And there were no grab bars in the shower. My wife and I are both seniors and found this property wholly unsuitable for us.
