ABOUT JUBILEE BY THE SEA:
Jubilee by the Sea is a four bedroom, two bathroom home, with living area, dining area, and full kitchen upstairs and a living area and kitchenette downstairs. The location is fantastic! You can enjoy views of the ocean from this quiet neighborhood. Downtown Kona is a quaint seaside town with a lot of bars, restaurants, and shopping. It is only 2.5 miles away and the ocean is less that 1/2 mile walk down the road. Jubilee By The Sea has consistently ranked extremely high in reviews for another rental property cite over the last three years with over 40 reviews & 91% 5 star reviews. We are excited to now make Jubilee By The Sea available to the VRBO community.

Each bedroom is equipped with a king or queen bed. Our home was renovated in January 2016 and outfitted with all new furnishings, paint, flooring, appliances, and electronics. You will have access to the entire home, which can be split into two separate living spaces, with separate kitchens and full bathrooms. Two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Also included are 8 snorkel sets, 2 boogie boards, and 4 beach chairs.

Free Wi-Fi is provided.

BEDROOMS: Each bedroom has a brand new bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress. If you have not heard of this amazing mattress company I highly recommend that you check them out at You will sleep amazing! Fresh brand-new linens, hangers, closet storage, lamp, nightstand, alarm clock, towels, and beach towels are provided. Three of the four bedrooms have private access to the Lanai or patio.

BATHROOM: Enjoy the two beautifully renovated bathrooms complete with mirror, vanity, toilet, tub, shower, and fresh brand new rugs. Hand soap, shampoo, and body wash are provided for your convenience.

KITCHEN: The kitchen has everything you will need to enjoy a meal on the outdoor lanai. It includes brand-new stainless steel appliances (the refrigerator is amazing), microwave, dishwasher, toaster, crock-pot, coffee pot, and a shared outdoor barbecue grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with wine glasses, cups, mugs, plates, mixing bowels, pots/pans, measuring cups, utensils, etc. To save on buying bottled water we suggest using the filtered water from the refrigerator.

LIVING AREA: The living area has a very nice sofa with a chaise lounge for relaxing while enjoying a movie in the evening (it is a sofa bed in case you need some additional sleeping space). The television is a 40” LED Smart TV where you can enjoy movies on Netflix though our free Wi-Fi. Cable service is not provided. We have also provided our favorite resource for the Big Island, “Big Island Revealed.” Use this guidebook to enjoy all the amazing sites, restaurants, shopping, and hidden adventures that the island has to offer.

LANAI: The beautiful wrap-around lanai is equipped with a luxurious seating area for enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian outdoors. The front lanai also has a quaint seating area with two chairs. The back lanai has a full sized table and four chairs to enjoy dining outdoors.

AIR-CONDITIONING-Air conditioning is provided for the upstairs bedrooms and living area only. The downstairs stays cool with the hawaiian breeze coming through the windows.

BARBECUE GRILL: The barbecue grill is located on the first floor on the back patio. We ask that you kindly clean the grill after each use. Please take appropriate care of the grill and ensure that the gas is turned off after each use. An extra propane tank is provided in case you need it. Instant message or call Nate for instructions on where the replacement propane tank is located.

WASHER AND DRYER: The washer and dryer is brand new. It is located on the outdoor patio, downstairs in the back of the home. We ask that you please utilize care with the equipment. Do not leave unattended items in the washer or dryer and re-cover the units after each use. Laundry detergent is not provided.

BEACH EQUIPMENT: We have supplied you with snorkel sets and boogie boards. The beach equipment is kept on the patio in a locked storage cabinet that is shared with the other unit.

OUTDOOR SHOWER: The outdoor shower is open. It is there for you to rinse off in your bathing suit after a long day in the sun and sand prior to entering the home. Hot water is not provided. This helps keep everything clean.

Amazing stay!

This property is very clean and has everything you need. Amazing location very close to down town. Great views off the balcony and a long drive way so you don’t have to worry if your group will have multiple vehicles. I Could not recommend this property enough. 👍

Family and friends getaway in Kona. Nate’s house was spacious, clean , well stocked and comfortable. We all enjoyed. Nice big kitchen to cook in , comfortable beds . We all enjoyed , my only complaint was having to leave👍

Perfect vacation

The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for everyone. It is the nicest house on the dead end street. Two bedrooms upstairs and two down. Fantastic deck surrounded the house with nice patio furniture and picnic tables for everyone to sit. Everything in the house was high quality and in great condition. The houses felt a little close together but it’s Hawaii and most properties are situated closer than we are used to in the Midwest. *One special attraction was the pet sheep in a back yard of a neighbor a few houses over. We loved watching it follow its owner around. It was clearly a well taken care of pet that never made a sound. We also enjoyed watching Magnus, the most handsome Boston terrier on the island, play with the children next door. Overall our stay on The Big Island was unique and magical. We would recommend this property. Nate, the owner, was helpful and always quick to respond.

Beautiful home

Booked this home for co-workers who had a project nearby. They said the house was beautiful, & comfortable upon returning after a days' work. Nate was awesome and responded quickly to all inquiries. I would definitely look into this place again if the need arises. Mahalo Nate! Debbie

Amazing rental

This rental is beautifully located in a rainforest. It is luxuriously decorated and well-maintained. Sharon even provided a delicious banana macadamia nut bread and pineapple to enjoy for breakfast. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location and property

It was a smooth process to rent here. Nate was always available to help. This place has air conditioner, which was needed on the hot days here in December. Love that there is a washer and dryer. Also had boogie boards and snorkeling gear for us to use during our stay. The best part was that we didn't have to bring anything except food. There were coffee, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper and beach towels for us to use. Location is close to Ali'i Drive and Da Poke Shack, which had great poke!

5 Star Experience!

The host responded to all communication in a timely manner and went out of his way to accommodate our special requests--Mahalo Nate! The location is super convenient and close to beaches, grocery stores, and other points of interest. The home includes so many amenities--gas grill, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen (upstairs) and kitchenette (downstairs), washer/dryer, etc. The outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off our feet before entering the home and the long driveway allowed us to easily park our mini-bus and cargo van. The home was very clean with new carpet, rugs, bedding, towels, etc. and well-maintained with no roaches, ants, nor other creepy critters noted. We enjoyed hanging out on the upstairs balcony to eat and to enjoy the sunset. We are very appreciative of the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful home!

PERFECT FOR A BIG FAMILY

Nate is a great home owner/renter. He contacted me right away with any questions I had. The place is well taken care of. We had 11 people staying here & we all were amazed at how nice the place was. It's air conditioned. The pictures don't do the place justice. We even barbecued one night on the grill provided by Nate. Full tank of gas too! It is in a great location. Quiet neighborhood. Mahalo, Nate, for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

My family and I live just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. We both work in pharmacy-related healthcare and we have two boys. My wife and I purchased this home in December 2015. We have named the home “Jubilee House” in honor of my wife’s late aunt, Jolee. The story of what brought us to buy this home has been a lesson in faith and legacy. My wife’s aunt Jolee owned the home right next door and it was always her dream to purchase Jubilee House. She was actually in the process of buying it when she suddenly passed away in a water-related accident in September 2015. When Jubilee House went back on the market we felt led to purchase it to expand our legacy and honor the life and legacy of Jolee. Our mission is that everyone who stays in Jubilee House will be blessed, feel restored, and leave this Island having an “above and beyond” experience.
