About Cheryl Willhoit
Happily Married to a wonderful husband, mother of a very beautiful daughter. I grew up in this home and I am very sentimental about my childhood home. We are continuing to make improvements.
Cheryl Willhoit purchased this Farmhouse in 2018
Why Cheryl Willhoit chose Madisonville
My Father passed away after a long illness and I inherited the family home. His desire was to keep the home place in the family for his granddaughters. We have made many improvements but are still a work in progress.

Cozy farmhouse, more than expected
We stayed in the farmhouse while visiting for a wedding.
The house is plain from the outside, but the inside has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated.
The backside of the house has the main entry. There are steps as well as a disabled ramp, which was great for our senior dog.
If you have forgotten anything, it's likely already in the farmhouse, from shampoo to snacks to apples for the beautiful horse who visits the back gate each day.
Quiet and peaceful
Place is very clean and nicely decorated! Had a nice quiet stay here.
Great little cabin
This place was great, very clean and nicely decorated. The farm eggs were a great touch. Would definitely stay here again.
Relax at Hester House
We were looking for a quiet place outside the tourist hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy day trips into the Smoky Mountains. Hester House was the perfect solution. Not your typical mountain rental, I loved the country farmhouse feel. Then I read Cheryl’s story and knew it was what I was looking for. Only a home with years of family and love could be this great.
When we arrived we were more than impressed. They thought of everything to make us feel at home. We were immediately relaxed. The linens were wonderful. I can’t think of a thing they failed to provide. The things I forgot, they had remembered. The worst thing was deciding on which porch to sit for coffee. Loved the goats and horse! I hope to return soon for a longer stay.
I also really appreciated the lack of a ‘check-out check list’ of things to do to before you leave. I never like the stress of possibly forgetting something.
Thank you so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed our home. My childhood home was always comfy, cozy and felt safe, It was our goal to keep that feeling. It is our hope that everyone loves it as much as we do. Please visit again soon, your dog was perfect!!
Loved it. Like home.
Very cute country home
Even though I traveled for business, my short stay was very easy and accommodating. Cheryl was so nice and personable. The decor was appealing.
