Our newly remodeled 4BR/3BA house is located just blocks from Salida's charming downtown! It's an easy walk to restaurants, shops, Riverside Park and live music at the amphitheater. There are two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs giving plenty of room to spread out. A large kitchen opens into a bright living room where everyone can gather. Whether you're coming to ski Monarch, mountain bike, hike or kayak, this is the perfect place to enjoy the Heart of the Rockies!

Of the 10 guests, maximum 7 can be adults (the 3 twin beds are for children).

Great time in Salida!

What a great place to stay! The home was so much fun--great for the entire family, so nice, and so much room to move around in. The kitchen and living room areas were great to all get together for meals and/or hanging out. Really liked Salida as well, had plenty of fun restaurants and things to do! The house had great location for going anywhere, including skiing at Monarch, which we did, and was terrific. Overall, aces across the board -- owner/property managers were great and easy to communicate with. We'll plan to be back in the summer for warmer activities and I highly recommend this house!

Adorable house in quaint town with a short drive to Monarch. Owners have considered everything!

We stayed for a long weekend during a trip to Denver to fit in a few days of skiing. The town of Salida is small and quaint with a precious downtown. We didn't spend much time in Salida, except to eat one evening-but it is easy to get to downtown from the house. Some houses around this rental are not as easy to look at- but you forget all about it when you are here. The owners have thought of absolutely everything! House is stocked with plenty of towels, and all toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner) that you need. They even had laundry detergent for our use, which was a big bonus for us. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner for 3 days and the knives were even new and sharp- which we've never seen in a rental! Another thing we appreciated so much was that there were spices and condiments and other essentials, like coffee there, so we didn't have to purchase all of the extras just to prepare a meal in the house. These are all the things we always have to buy and then leave behind....they have thought of everything! There is a garage available for you to park, which we realized after the second night that we should take advantage of because of the ice on the windshield in the morning. They have also provided a corn hole game, that our kids enjoyed playing in the back yard. The drive to Monarch, was about 30 minutes, but was quick and easy and we really enjoyed the small feel of the mountain. It was perfect for our young skiers. The owner was accommodating and friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

SALIDA. I LOVE YOU!

We loved this house in Salida! It was perfect for two families, enough room for everyone to spread out and find their own space. And the big kitchen was awesome. The location was great....it's a short walk to the heart of downtown which we did several times for dinner, shopping and hanging out on the river. Charles was a great host and communication was quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again.
