About this property

Country charm and comfort

We rent a detached house, near our home. It is located at the entrance of a small village of 60 inhabitants, quiet and authentic.

You will have a nice indoor area of ​​120 m2 and a terrace of 60 m2, not overlooked, south facing, decorated with a non enclosed garden, a barbecue, a table with chairs wooden garden, seating and loungers with mattresses. A ping-pong and badminton net are also available. Nearby are a football field and tennis courts.

Inside, you will enjoy a large bright living room, with fully equipped designer kitchen (island, 55l oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, American fridge, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine ...) a sitting area around a sofa, a fireplace and a flat screen TV with DVD player and a comfortable dining room. You will also have at your disposal a washing machine, a clothes dryer, iron and ironing board, installed in the laundry room of the entrance. The house consists of three bedrooms, main with king size bed and fitted wardrobe, second with double standard and people dressing and a third with two standard bed and cupboards people. The bathroom includes a shower, bath, furniture, sinks, heated towel rail and a hanging toilet.

We treated the decoration and the choice of our furniture, so that you feel good in this warm house as pleasant in summer and winter.

An internet connection is available.

You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings (hiking) or explore the many sites around our house: Mirepoix (15 km), a medieval fortified town very lively, Castelnaudary and the Canal du Midi (15 km), Lake Ganguise (20 km), the city of Carcassonne (35 km), Toulouse, the pink city (50 km), the sea and its beaches (100 km), the Ariege Pyrenees, the Cathar castles, Andorra ... well others. You can also taste the quality local products, cassoulet, wine, goat cheese, ice cream from sheep's milk ... We will be sure to advise you.

We offer always the goal you feel good, optional services (prices on request), the beds made upon arrival, bathroom linen, the first breakfast or meals, housekeeping ...

The rental for the weekend is possible, except in July and August. Practical information (contract, deposit, arrival and departure times ...) will be given on first contact.

Great peaceful get away!

Immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Out in the country but still only 20 minutes to Mirepoix and it’s great restaurants. Nadia was the perfect hostess.

The owner was very pleasant, & available fairly quickly for some issues that arose during our stay (she was able to replace needed tubing on her washer, & replace a broken iron). She seemed receptive to some other feedback we gave in person. The games were super fun for my girls. The home did need a bit more cleaning outside on the patio area especially, and dust webs in some areas. The pantry area we had to keep closed up due to a mold smell. We came in the summer, & had hoped there would be screens on the windows to keep bugs out, but apparently screens are not common in those parts. The home is old, but it has been updated nicely, especially the decor. The kitchen was very good for our stay.

Sejour agréable malgré la chaleur

La region est fantastique, au pied des pyrénnées, entre Toulouse et Carcassonne. Séjour tres agréable. La salle de bain mériterait un rafraichissement, cela commence à vieillir (les pommes de douche sont bonnes à remplacer). Les moustiques se font bien sentir la nuit. Le confort de la literie est bien là. Le barbecue est de qualité. Il y a un grand nombre d'équipements très apréciables. Quelle bonne idée le Babyfoot et le terrain de tennis (vieillissant) à proximité.En revanche, oubliez le terrain de foot, il n'est pas pratiquable (champ de patates avec des ornieres). Nous avons découvert cette region dans les meilleures condtions malgré la canicule. La proprietaire est joignable facilement et très réactive.

Un merveilleux sejour

Une belle semaine dans un charmant village la location etait parfaite tout etait prevu depuis les lits faits aux serviettes de bains Mieux qu'à l'hotel ! Et nous avons apprécié l equipement de la cuisine ou rien ne manquait Un seul souci : n avoir pris qu une semaine de vacance car 15 j auraient ete super dans cette maison et dans cette region Nous esperons pouvoir y revenir Notre hôte Nadia nous a donné toutes les infos utiles à notre arrivée Merci encore pour votre accueil

Séjour très agréable en famille

Maison très agréable, très bien équipée, très bien située, dans un écrin de verdure non loin de Catelnaudary et Mirepoix. Randonnée avec de superbes paysages au départ de la maison. Nombreux villages typiques à visiter à proximité. Belle découverte du canal du midi. Propriétaire tres accueillante et de bon conseil. A renouveler…

Au calme et à proximité de curiosité touristique

Si vous souhaitez une location au calme pour vous ressourcer tout en étant situé à proximité de grands sites touristiques ( Carcassonne, Mirepoix, Toulouse...) allez y La maison est très propre, moderne et fonctionnelle . Nadia a nous a orienté vers les bonnes adresses gustatives et certains endroits à visiter où nous n'aurions pas eu l'idée d'aller. Merci pour votre accueil !!!

Un mixte de confort, de nature, et de vues.

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par la propriétaire des lieux. Elle nous a informés très généreusement, et avec justesse, sur les lieux -nombreux- à découvrir. Après seulement une quinzaine de minutes de voiture en partant de Castelnaudary, nous découvrons une maison confortable, lumineuse et très calme. La route qui y mène, riche de vallons et collines, habillée des couleurs d'automne, vous laisse découvrir de sublimes vues sur les pyrénnées. Merci, nous reviendrons probablement.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour bien que le temps n ait pas été tous les jours au rendez vous. Location très calme. Quelques fourmis mais pas de moustiques. Un seul petit bémol la fosse sceptique renvoie quelques odeurs à l extérieur vers l entrée.

Découvrir l'Aude et L'Ariège en toute tranquillité.

Belles vacances dans une habitation fonctionnelle, lumineuse et spacieuse. Le calme règne dans ce petit hameau, ce qui accentue l'effet coupure recherché. La localisation permet de faire pas mal de découvertes en 1 heure de route. Contact facile et agréable avec le propriétaire.

Très bien en famille

Nous avons passé 2 très bonnes semaines en famille avec 2 jeunes enfants (2 et 6 ans). Voiture indispensable pour pouvoir profiter des environs. Maison bien équipée. Prévoir Anti moustiques, anti fourmis et guêpes... Comme dans beaucoup de destinations vacances ! (c'est la nature ;) Nous avons pu installer une petite piscine gonflable dans le jardin pour que les enfants se rafraîchissent pendant les journées chaudes. Environnement très calme. Merci à Nadia et son mari pour leur bienveillance.

Agréable séjour au calme

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé : le village est très tranquille et le logement très confortable et bien équipé. La maison reste même fraiche malgré la chaleur.

Stunning rural git

A beautiful property in a tranquil small village in lovely rolling countryside. The owner was charming and helpful, with excellent communication prior to and on arrival. The house was well equipped and tastefully furnished, and breakfasting on the terrace listening to nightingales singing a true delight A car is essential, and you will need to travel around 8 miles to find shops or restaurants, but there is plenty to do in the area, whether you are active or just want to relax.
