Caprarola vacation rentals

My partner and I were traveling around Italy and were staying in personal properties rather than hotels. Because it was our first time in Viterbo, I struggled for a few minutes finding the street, but it was so easy once I understood the old city. I can tell you that in all our three weeks in Italy this was by far the most beautiful place we stayed in. The apartment is huge, beautifully decorated and perfectly laid out with one bedroom on one side and one on the other. The stunning kitchen is a floor up. Recently, I’ve had some difficulty sleeping, but in this gorgeous space, with the windows open and the beautiful gardens in the street, I slept like a baby everyone traveling through Italy should stay at this beautiful place at least once. We will stay again on our next trip. I should also mention that there are great restaurants, my partner and I are vegan and there was a vegan pizza shop just down the block, and it was centrally located. What a great place. I should mention that it is an old city so driving is restricted but, you can load and unload at certain times at the door, and parking is a short 12 to 15 minute walk from the free parking lot with an easy access elevator that takes you from the parking lot to the city streets

This apartment is a great home base if you want to visit all the neighboring towns such as Bomarzo, Orvieto or Bagnoregio. It's inside the walled city of Viterbo, which feels like something straight out of Game of Thrones! Our host, Paola, was wonderful and welcoming and met us at the apartment. There is a large garage to park in and the apartment itself is lovely and big. We especially loved the bedroom upstairs. You can easily walk to many cool bars and restaurants. The San Pellegrino area is very hip and very happening on the weekends! We loved it here and would definitely come back!

Everything was clean and as pictured; however, the listing states ‘house’ and this is not. This is part of a condominium; this may be due to understanding of what a house is as in America a house is a standalone dwelling with no one else attached. This is a building unit with multiples. This aside, all was well and with no issue. Think those choosing to stay need to understand this as it is not easy to understand from the pictures. I will say, at night it is very quiet and peaceful. We had an issue with a hair dryer and within a moment we had a new one at our doorstep, also had some batteries go out on a remote for the air and again, batteries without hesitation at our doorstep. Very, very responsive and thankful for our stay. The town itself is amazing with wonderful restaurants and scenery to compliment. Before we arrived, I had many questions and Alessandro was very responsive and had an answer or would seek one out. We appreciate his hospitality and felt we were in good hands in a country we had not ventured in before. :)

This cozy 3 bed/2 bath house was PERFECT for the four of us. It was immaculately clean and just a 10 minute walk to the lake and the center of town. We used it as a home base for two weeks that included a couple of short (ie Orvieto) and not so short (Bologna) day and overnight trips. One of the beauties of the house is that the incredibly reasonable price for the beauty of the location allows you to NOT feel guilty for exploring rather than staying at home. Don't get me wrong, every time we left, we couldn't wait to get back. This town is truly magical - especially for anyone who loves to swim in a crystal clear lake-- and the location of the house made it easy to pop in and out for coffee, groceries, swims in the lake, apertifs, etc. You won't hear English spoken during the entire time you're here unless you want to. The hosts are in an adjoining house and incredibly helpful and wonderful people, but you won't see them unless you choose to; it is very private. We all highly recommend (unless you're looking at during the same weeks as us next summer, in which case I hope we book it first : ) )

Holiday houses are located on the hill near Capranica, with a nice view of the city. Swimming pool in the beautiful grove is available to have a rest. Attentive hostess. Recommended for tourists, who like to live close to nature with all city amenities. We had a good time in Capranica, Sutri, Bracciano, Anguillara Sabazia and Rome. A lot of other cities, towns & other sights are accessible for sightseeing from this point: Viterbo, Vetralla, Tuscania, Tarquinia, Ronciglione, Caprarola, Soriano Nel Cimino, Bagnaia & villa Lante, Vitorchiano, Bomarzo & it's sacred forest, Orte & it's ancient underground, Nepi, Civita Castellana, Calcata Vecchia, Vico lake nature park, Bracciano lake, Bolsena lake etc.
