About Miranda Jacobsen
My husband and our two boys moved to the beautiful Teton Valley in 2017. We were looking for a more majestic and relaxed setting in which to raise our sons. While we are new here we have settled into a lovely life just over the Wyoming border. What we lack in longevity we make up for in enthusiasm for this sweet place. We feel so grateful every day for the opportunity to live in this wilderness. It's a bit of a responsibility, trying to make the most of every day here. If you need any advice about ways to have fun while visiting, don't hesitate to ask!

Lovely, quiet house
We used the house as a base for visiting Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, which required quite a bit of driving (well worth it). But coming “home” to a clean, well appointed and very comfortable place each day was delightful. We had a couple of rainy days when we stayed in, enjoying the gas fireplace and looking out the huge picture window in the living room at snow topped mountains to the east. The house is situated among a small grouping of houses outside of Driggs near a burbling stream with a pleasant walkway alongside it. We seemed to be the only occupants of this little development the week we were there, so it was very quiet. There’s a great grocery store in town, Broullim’s, where you can get just about anything. Miranda made sure to let us know she was available if anything came up, but aside from a panicky few minutes at the end of our stay when we locked ourselves out of the house (which Miranda and Stephen helped with right away), we had no problems with the house. It seems like a very good place to stay in the winter if you’re coming to ski or trek with snow shoes, or the summer with it’s screened porch and deck, a grill and a large grassy lawn all around. For our time, in late September, it was perfect!
Our trip was by far the best and this home made it that much better for us. It was extremely clean, comfortable and inviting!! We felt as though we were "home" each night after long days of venturing out in GTNP and Jackson. There was nothing about this place that we did not love. The bed was sooo comfortable which is key when on vacation and not in your own place. Miranda is the best and would always get back to us with any questions we had! Love her! And if you are ever ,looking for a simple meal such as pizza you have to get it from "Get Baked" in town! Outstanding place!! We highly recommend this home for anyone to stay!!
Best of the tetons
Great location. Convenient and plenty to do. Nice property around the home. Loved it.
Weekend in Yellowstone
This property shows better in person than the photos. It is a beautiful home in a lovely location. A nearby stream provides a soothing sound when sitting outside on the large deck. The split bedroom layout allows for privacy. One added perk, if you forgot anything, it's there! Shampoo, hand soap, etc. We loved it and for the bargain price felt like it was a great deal. It does take a good bit to get into Yellowstone from here, so if you are heading that way, leave early!
Amazing, quiet location.
Not only was the house incredible, but the location was equally incredible. The house was super clean, and the location quiet. We used this location as it was equal distance from the Tetons and South Yellowstone entrance as it is the West Yellowstone entrance.
Great Anchor to Everywhere
Very nice and met our expectations. The view was great of the Tetons. The manager contacted us several times. We used this as our launch point to everywhere in the Tetons (we love to hike) and to Yellowstone. A great vacation was had by my wife and I!
This home is not only in a beautiful and tranquil setting, it's also ideally located!!! It's a 15 minute drive to Grand Targhee for world class skiing, snowboarding, nordic/ skate skiing, hiking, mountain biking and disc golf! Also in the summer there are two major music festivals--Mid-July there is the Targhee Music Festival and then in August there's the Targhee Bluegrass Festival. Both have proven to be destination events.
If you want to make the trek to Jackson Hole Resort, it's only 45 minutes drive over there. Coming from this side, it's actually really easy to make a left turn at the Village Road from Wilson. It might just be faster than driving from Jackson if you know what I mean!
The town of Driggs is only 6 minutes down the road for truly yummy restaurants, a large grocery store, a delightful health food store and a few stores for hard goods like skis, bikes, rentals, clothing, etc. Driggs is quite quaint but has everything you could need during your stay.
It's only a 1hour and 15 minutes drive from either the West entrance or the South entrance of Yellowstone National Park. My family likes to enter through one of the entrances and exit through another. The Park is so big!
If you want to float the Teton River or the Snake there is parking out front for your boat. You can rent stand- up paddle boards and inner tube in Driggs.
