Historic Ranger Station in the heart of Nemo, SD

Completely remodeled historic National Forest Ranger Station in Nemo, SD. We are in the heart of the Black Hills and close to all attractions. Covered Porch off front of cabin overlooks Nemo Mountain and valley. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed, two twin beds in the loft and a queen size fold out couch and one bathroom with combo tub and shower. Hike, Bike or Ride your Motorcyle and/or ATV/UTV from the front door. The National forest is your backyard. The cabin is situated on 7 acres within a short walk to the Nemo Guest Ranch. Fully equipped kitchen with appliances. All linens are provided.

This property was absolutely perfect for us. Very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Plenty of room for our dog to run and play. It was also nice having an outside water spigot for washing our side by side after trail riding. We will definitely be booking the Historic Ranger Station again. We took a short sight-seeing trip to South Dakota and this was the perfect place to stay - a great location! Not too far from the spectacular sights to see. A very nice quiet beautiful little cabin with all the comforts of home, it is equipped with everything! My hubby wants me to mention how the bed is so comfy; I am picky about beds and i loved it too! We saw deer and turkey every morning!!! Another nice bonus: a washer and dryer - we went home with clean clothes! Our only problem was that our stay was too short!!!! Thank you Wendy for sharing your cabin with us!

A great stay overall! Great location and beautiful porch to enjoy it all. The cabin was fully stocked with anything that you could need. It was very clean and well maintained. We did have trouble with the AC unit while we were there and had one night without it but Wendy was great to work with and was prompt in addressing the issue.

This is a great place, in a perfect location for UTV Trail driving. The owners pay good attention to all the details and necessities down to providing their guests Ricks Salt (Mobrodge SD.) They thought it pretty much everything. Communication is great. I recommend this place highly.
