Loved our stay

Have stayed in the complex many times but this was first visit as one couple rather than with others. The size and layout was perfect for us and we are considering a return trip in July and using the same location. Close to beach, great view of the water and beach, close to shopping and restaurants and especially Orient Beach which we went to daily. Would definitely recommend this location to any couple or couples looking at a spot in Baie Orientale.

Charming Spot on a beautiful beach

This was our first visit to St. Martin. We found the unit we'd rented spectacular! The balcony (except for the dust from the dirt beach road) an amazing spot morning, noon and evenings! Our host was lovely and very responsive and helpful to our questions. The location is perfect and nearly everything we needed we could get walking a few steps to the little village centre. We will be back.

The Apartment

The apartment is beautiful. We loved the open rafter ceiling and the light and the large balcony with beautiful view. The kitchen was reasonable well appointed. Easy walk to the beach h and all restaurants and shops. The road can be a little noisy, even in the middle of the night, with garbage trucks and other vehicles. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Perfect Location

This condo is perfect for the family. It's spacious and plenty of bedding. It had the perfect setting, nice beach, many beach cafe and bars, activities with little traffic. This side of the island has a nice breeze. We enjoyed walking on the beach every morning to get our croissants and baguette at Good Morning cafe. The mini town had wonderful restaurants that is a short walk from the condo. And a special thanks to the nice people who manage the condo.

Good location

Good property overall. Had three maintenance issues - broken toilet, leak under kitchen sink, and master shower only gave cold water. First two were attended to promptly, but never got hot water from the master shower.

REALLY GREAT

Property manager was EXTREMELY helpful and responsive. Property was very comfortable. The deck / patio was excellent. Very nice stay overall. A couple of minor issues: 1. Coffee maker needs attention. Either a thorough cleaning or replacement as it won't stay on for a full cycle. You have to keep pushing the on button. 2. There is a screw missing from one of the loungers on the patio. A minor repair should be done to prevent further damage. 3. A small table for use between the two loungers on the patio would be nice. 4. A couple of folding chairs that could be taken to the pool would be a nice add on. Overall, everything (except the coffee machine) worked perfectly. Property was VERY comfortable. Would happily stay there again.

Excellent location and hosting

It's very nice apartment for 2-4 people to stay. Roomy, airy, with a big terrace, located across the Orient beach. The host Carrol-anne was very nice and helpful. Even low pressure of water in bathrooms couldn't spoil our stay. That's why I gave 5 stars. Definitely would stay again.

Room for improvements

The view was beautiful , the unit was spacious, the walking distance to restaurants was a bonus. My friends and I travel every year and rent units for our vacations , so we were a bit disappointed. There was no book or pamphlets with local info , which left us searching online . Little things like , activities in the area, restaurants, the ferry to Pinel, directions or suggestions to go to Grand Case, Phillipsberg, Or Marigot, where to get the COVID test to return to the uS, info that the restaurant across the street closes at 5 except for Thursday nights etc…. The coffee pot is tiny , like 2 cups, the amount of towels was scarce for 3 people, and same with dish towels, and wash clothes. And extra bed linens and blanket . Also , there’s people selling stuff on the beach that tried to get us to pay them for the chairs 10 a piece and when we asked at the restaurant they said they were to be paid , 30 two chairs and an umbrella , then when Natasha was checking us out she said we should have gotten vouchers upon check in and should not have paid at all! A book with info would have been super helpful . The other thing to note is there are no chairs at the pool. If you go expect to sit on the concrete surround . The listing states three full bathrooms, that is not true, it’s two bathrooms with sink and shower, and one bathroom with a toilet , three or four people with one toilet ? Fine but then list it as such . The area is beautiful, and with a few additions of things this unit would be improved.

Great Orient Beach rental

My wife and I loved this rental, directly across from the beach with great views and very large balcony. The location is excellent with a short walk to the Orient Village with great dining and convenient little grocery store, and steps from the beach. Carole-Anne was excellent help with everything we needed. Thanks for a great vacation!

Uitstekende locatie op het Franse gedeelte

Ons verblijf van twee weken was uitstekend verlopen. Een prima appartement, met drie slaapkamers perfect voor zes personen. Keuken was prima uitgerust, met vaatwasser, koffiemachine, oven en er is een wasmachine in huis. Een heerlijke grote patio. Heel dichtbij het strand. Goed verzorgd zwembad en vlakbij een aantal restaurants die kwalitatief goed zijn. Er zijn twee kleine supermarkten in de buurt. De Ontvangst was goed geregeld. Orianne is een hele hartelijke vrouw die graag wil dat je verblijf goed verloopt, Uitchecken op locatie goed geregeld en toen ik last had van mijn oor werd ik omdat we geen eigen auto hadden, naar de dokter en pharmacie gebracht. Orianne had ons het nummer gegeven van een goede taxichauffeur en die heeft ons gehaald en gebracht en voor de ritten in de buurt hadden we ter plaatse een betrouwbare chauffeur gevonden die ons een viertal keer uitstekend heeft geholpen. Het strand van Orient beach vonden wij echt geweldig. Er is een padi duikschool op het strand. Strandtent Sun Beach was onze favoriet met prima lunch, heel aardig personeel en eigenaar. Een baai verderop is een surf school, voor golf surfen en in beide baaien zijn veel watersport mogelijkheden. Grand Case is leuk om te eten van simpel (de lo lo's) tot heel chique. Calmos cafe met soms live muziek erg gezellig. Maho beach is een aanrader om de vliegtuigen te zien. Die hebben we ook nog bekeken nadat we hadden ingecheckt, want het is 12 minuten lopen vanaf het vliegveld. Wat opvalt is dat het Franse gedeelte allemaal laagbouw kent en is opgezet rekening houdend met de omgeving.

Excellent stay and accommodations

We stayed at this location for twelve days with another couple and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of a well run and well priced resort setting. Everything form our greetings, tour of the property and all subsequent dealings with staff and management were great. Had some minor maintenance issues and they were taken care of immediately the same day! The size of the rental was great for six people and we all had separate bathrooms and there were no issues. The large balcony was great for outdoor eating in the evenings. Everything at this location was as advertised and we would definitely stay there again!

Super!!!!!!!

Superbe appartement, parfaitement équipé. Bien plus grand et luxueux qu'on ne l'imaginait. Nous avons passé à 7 un super séjour. Contact avec une personne de l'agence très facile par mail ou téléphone à tout moment. La plaque à induction est tombé en panne et à été changé dès le lendemain. Nous n'avions pas prévu de louer une voiture et finalement avons décider d'en prendre une. Orianne Cherrier nous a orienté vers une agence qui m'a livré la voiture directement à l'appartement dans l'heure qui a suivi. Seuls points négatifs: il n'y avait pas de livret d'accueil nous renseignant les différents numéros d'urgence, un plan du domaine, les commerces qu'on peut trouver à saint martin, les bons restaurants et divers bons plans.... La propreté des sols à notre arrivée qui n'avait pas été serpillé. Il y avait encore beaucoup de sable au sol. Quoi qu'il en soit nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous y retournerons volontier

Holiday Ruined - Burglary in Property - Convenient Orient Bay Location, walk to beach & restaurants

Group of 5 friends (all female- bachelorette weekend) stayed from August 17-22, 2016. The Villa was burglarized personal items were stolen. I want all potential future renters to be cautious about booking this property. The Villa is located on the second floor. The thief climbed up to the balcony & entered through patio doors. This all happened between midnight and 3am while we were out. The burglar grabbed handbags & pieces of luggage that were in the living room area. My Passport, iPad, credit cards & cash were all stolen. We drove down to the main security gate immediately they called the cops (as Americans there was a language barrier as the Gendarmerie (military cops)only speak French). Security guards and the cops canvassed the courtyard and premises. Some of the belongings were scattered about the pool area and grounds. My passport was recovered. Cash & my iPad were taken. The cops took a statement. Later the same day, forensic police officers returned to the Villa to take photos, fingerprints off the balcony door & measure footprints etc. that were left on the balcony furniture from the thief. A full-day was completely consumed with investigation. I contacted the Management office by email to inform them of the incident. Orianne was helpful, but I don’t believe this is the first incident of this kind. She did not seem alarmed. She met us Saturday afternoon at the Gendarmerie office to obtain a police report. The report was unavailable & I was asked to return to another location (in French Quarters) to obtain it. Outside of this interaction, Orianne provided no additional support which was surprised. We asked for her to accompany us to the other station the next day & she was unavailable and unmoved by our predicament. I would have hoped for Management to offer some sort of reimbursement for the huge inconvenience, theft on property and invasion our privacy at the rental. They offered nothing. I was very disappointed by this.We had two additional days left in the Villa before we departed. Management did not contact us. We were terribly uncomfortable and unsettled because of the robbery. Our level of comfort in the condo vanished and for the remaining days we kept the metal shutters closed blocking the view . The incident effectively ruined our trip. I would not recommend this space. While the location is convenient to shops and to the beach; the potential theft risks and lack of empathy by Management far outweigh any pros I can think of.

Overall a very nice place to stay!

The location of the apartment is perfect. A two minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to restaurants and stores. The staff were very nice. The apartment was clean and had a nice outdoor area. The kitchen was a perfect size for our group and allowed us to cook breakfast before each day. I would recommend this apartment.

Très bel appartement

Appartement en très bon état. L'emplacement est super, a 100 mètres de la plage et a coté de petit commerces. Parking a 5 mètres, très pratique. Seul défaut la pression de l'eau qui est très bas voir nul si l'ont prends des douche en même temps et le WIFI instable. Cela dit notre séjours a été mémorable. Merci.

Fantastic place for family spring break getaway!

My family just spent four days in this Orient Beach villa. The property was perfect for my husband, me, and our two teenage daughters. This space is plentiful, comfortable, attractive, and well accommodated. Location to the beach, pool, and village is a very scenic, short walk. We hope to come back soon!

perfect location for Orient Bay

We could not have picked a better location to stay on orient bay. The apartment was also perfect for our family- there was ample washrooms and space for all 8 of us. The kitchen was fully equipped for anything that we needed. There was one time we had an issue with the internet, but the people we rented from worked to fix the issue quickly. I would definitely rent this place and recommend this place to anyone who wanted to stay in orient bay. It was wonderful.
