Amazingly beautiful house with stunning views from every single room! Very comfortable, and super well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Definitely recommend and hope to stay there again in the future.

Great family stay for Aussies

Everything the villa offered was delivered and the extended family had a wonderful holiday. One minor suggestion is to provide gate remote controls for each vehicle in a party. Two between three cars caused some coordination problems.

We have rented properties on the South of France for years now and this one makes our list of top favorites! We had a big group (multiple adults and teens), and we all fit easily in this large property. There was plenty of space and privacy, and everything worked as advertised. It is a gorgeous home with incredible views and amenities. The owners were kind and extremely helpful. We will most certainly be coming back to this house again!

Fantastic Winter Holiday

We recently returned from 2 1/2 glorious weeks at Sophie’s beautiful Villa Citadelle. We rented the villa for a family reunion Christmas with our adult children(2 of whom live in Antibes) and to meet our new 2 month old granddaughter. The villa was absolutely perfect for our group - everyone had their own private space and we had plenty of fun communal space in which to gather. The kitchen was a dream and opened into the large living room where we gathered most of the time. The views from there were fantastic!! The adjacent pool room provided hours of fun for the adults and also has a most amazing view! Despite being there during late Dec we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the adjacent pool kitchen and wood fired pizza oven. In fact we made wood fired pizza 3 times during our stay! The new gym was an added bonus and got plenty of use (especially after all the delicious food and French wine we were consuming:)) Sophie was an amazing host and was very responsive from the time of booking and throughout our stay. She even arranged for a private chef to come to the villa -Chef Florent prepared a delicious holiday meal for us. The villa has beautiful grounds, a fantastic view of the sea all the way up the coast to Nice and is a quick drive into Antibes -perfectly located for us to explore the area when we weren’t relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. We enthusiastically recommend Sophie’s villa and look forward to returning soon!

Paradise in Antibes

We have spent two very nice weeks on vacation in this lovely home. The owners, Sophie and Yann, are very friendly, always accessible and willing to help with any questions that we had. The house is large, well maintained and well equipped. It has all the amenities including a gas and charcoal grill, fully equipped, spacious kitchen, wine refrigerator and a large table for family meals in and outside of the house. All bedrooms are clean, some with terrace access, and there are many bathrooms, which are easily accessible. Wifi is fast and reliable, large TV in the living room has a good selection of programs, bluetooth speakers are available in the house and in the pool house. There is a large pool maintained weekly, with chairs, lounges, pool towels and large umbrellas. There is a pool house where you can relax, have drinks and meals. The large jacuzzi is another plus, however, in the height of the summer months it is better used in the evenings. The whole property is very clean, well maintained and filled with beautiful flowers and shrubs. The house is situated in a small community with double gates, it is safe and easily accessible from the local roads. Carrefour shopping center is nearby for food shopping, Biot and Antibes have other shops if needed. This was our second trip to French Riviera and we felt at home there. This area is rich in tradition and history, has beautiful weather, nice beaches, good food and wine, friendly people, quaint towns with small shops and a wide selection of art museums and galleries. Our hosts care about their property and it looks like this is their house. We were frequently facing a difficult decision: relax by the pool and stay at home or visit beautiful towns and beaches. We recommend this property without reservation.

Traumvilla in Traumlage

Die Villa liegt super schön auf einer Anhöhe in Antibes. Von der Villa genießt man einen traumhaften auf das Meer. Die Villa bietet alles, was man für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub benötigt. Der Pool ist beheizt und sehr groß. Desweiteren gibt es eine Tischtennisplatte, einen Billardtisch, einen Bouleplatz und einen Fitnessraum. Wir haben sehr gerne Abends Boule oder Billard gespielt und im Poolhaus auch Mal Pizza gebacken, was für alle Familien ein besonderes Erlebnis war. Wir können die Villa und die Gastgeber nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen herzlichen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Tout était parfait : la maison a une vue superbe, elle est très bien équipée, elle est extrêmement propre, elle est distribuée de manière telle que plusieurs groupes au sein de la famille peuvent y trouver leur autonomie. Familienurlaub

Wir waren beeindruckt von der komfortablen Villa und den vielen verschiedenen Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Besonders genutzt von der Jugend waren der beheizte Pool und der tolle Jacuzzi. Auch der Pizzaofen im Poolhaus hat uns tolle Pizzen bereitet. Die Frühstücke auf der Terrasse mit tollen Meerblick haben uns besonders gefallen. Die Gastgeberin Sophie war jederzeit erreichbar und hat superschnell auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Wir haben einen unvergesslichen Urlaub erlebt, vielen Dank dafür. Familie Welz

Tolle Villa in fantastischer Lage

Das Haus liegt etwas über Antibes und bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer mit direktem Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet (wir haben v.a. den Billardtisch, den Grill und den Whirlpool geschätzt) und sehr gepflegt (auch die Außenanlage). Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig (v.a. die Betten) und in gutem Zustand - es funktioniert einfach alles. Kleiner Schönheitsfehler: Die beiden Zimmer im Obergeschoss sind wegen der steilen, engen Treppe und fehlender Höhe im Treppenhaus eher als Kinderzimmer geeignet und eines davon hat keinen Zugang zu einem Bad im OG. Sonst war einfach alles perfekt. Vielen Dank an Sophie und Thierry für den freundlichen Empfang und die nette Betreuung.

Schöne Lage aber mit klaren Defiziten

Tolle Lage und engagierte Eigentümer. Das Haus war leider nicht sehr sauber gereinigt. Nicht alle Zimmer haben ein Bad und das Poolhaus - mit einem zusätzlichen Zimmer - ist leider nicht wirklich nutzbar. Die Nähe zu Antibes, Cannes und Nizza sind sehr vorteilhaft.

Beautiful Antibes Villa

I booked a girly trip here (ten of us) and it lived up to the amazing pictures. Just a half-hour drive from the airport, 10 min drive from town, and super close to a large carrefoure supermarket. Such a gorgeous villa, with everything you need for a large group. We had arranged trips out but ended up staying at the villa a couple of times, not wanting to leave the pool and hot tub! The garden was also gorgeous, with lemon trees etc. Sophie herself was incredibly helpful and thoughtful, and made our stay go so smoothly. The only problem was that we did not want to leave!! Thank you, Sophie!

The best holiday experience we have had.

I cant gush enough about our experience and stay here. The place itself is immaculate, clean, really big, really well finished and so great to relax and use. It was very comfortable with a full house of people. The views are spectacular, night time overlooking the sea is incredible and words or pictures cant describe. the Pool area is huge, we ate out on the deck a few times. Now to the most important part, the host Sophie was such a special person. I truly cant say enough good words about her energy, kind spirit and total willingness to help and do everything (from bedding to an in house chef to catering to our timings and having everything perfect). She ensured our child's needs were all met, the floors were spotless and she was just warm and lovely. We will for sure be back and primarily because of her and how she keeps the property.

Fantastic Views

We stayed here in August this year and had an absolutely wonderful time. The owners couldn't do more to help us and make our stay truly wonderful. The villa had recently been renovated to a very high standard and we were their first guests. The location is brilliant and the views were incredible. We hope to go back again next year.
