Frisco, CO is considered "the Main Street of the Rockies". It is approx 1 hour and 15 minutes from DIA Airport and right off of I-70. The charming Frisco downtown is one of the rare ski towns in the US that is still quaint, but yet offers walking distance to many amenities. Downtown Main Street is only a short two block walk from the house to shopping, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, liquor store, and an impressive nightlife. Within a mile is a major supermarket, Whole Foods, Wal-Mart, Starbucks and many ski shops for equipment or rental needs. Frisco is centrally located to all that Summit County has to offer and is truly a four-season location.

About Lisa Smith

We are two professionals who moved to Denver in 2004 and spent three years visiting every town and resort area west of Denver in search of the perfect place for a mountain home. When we discovered Frisco, the search was over! We both travel extensively for work and pleasure and have tried to include all the amenities that we ourselves have experienced and loved throughout our travels. We do not use a rental service or a management company. We also have great local folks who maintain and upkeep the house and can be available in the case of emergency.

Lisa Smith purchased this house in 2007

Why Lisa Smith chose Frisco

Frisco is the perfect mountain location. It has the unique combination of both upscale and cheap eats restaurants, various boutiques, and world-class outdoor activities. It is just slightly over an hour drive from Denver, right off of I-70. Frisco is a small town with all the necessary conveniences, yet it has a quaint 'walk around' downtown that is uniquely special. There are five world-class ski resorts between 15 and 30 minutes away.

What makes this house unique

The house is two short blocks from the center of historic downtown Frisco, "The Main Street of the Rockies". It has great views of the mountains. You will be able to walk to an impressive number of restaurants and shops. Our home is not your typical rental. It is tastefully decorated and contains many upgrades. You will forget that you are in a vacation rental. We have gone to great lengths to make sure your stay will be comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Very lovely home! The kids had a blast in the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone. We will be back next year.

Wonderful Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED this quiet and relaxing home which perfectly fit our needs. Six adults and two children shared this home very comfortably. We even added an extra night! The home is in a beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen had everything for preparing family meals. The house was stocked with paper products, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc. - more than I've ever experienced at a rental. We took advantage of the washer and dryer (packed less clothes). Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were top notch. WIFI was strong and fast. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. But the Jacuzzi was the real highlight after a long day of hiking. Walking distance to all Main Street has to offer. The whole family took away some wonderful memories of our stay and were sad to leave. Thank you for allowing us to share this beautiful home and we look forward to returning next year!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay in this lovely home. We had 6 people with us and everyone had a great time. The property did seem a bit smaller than expected but was not an issue at all. Our group loved the fact that it was close to everything. Its within walking distance of downtown Frisco. A quick drive to Keystone, A Basin, and Breck. It was also close to the outlet shops of Dillon/Silverthorne. The owners were more than responsive and even called on Thanksgiving to make sure all was going to our liking. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone especially those with more than 1 family going. Thanks for the great home and stay. Look forward to coming again.

Wedding Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend retreat to the mountains.

My family and stayed here for my brother's destination wedding.

We were comfortable all weekend - it's perfect distance for a short walk to town, the park, close to a beautiful creek. Make sure you take a hike to Rainbow Lake when in town. Visit the Foote's Rest and eat at Grecco's. Amazing weekend.

This is how you should vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying here. The home is very comfortable for our family of 8. It was very clean with plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Also, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry soap (washing towels and clothes) were provided. The kitchen had plenty of counter space and fully-equipped for making meals. And it was so convenient to be able to walk to downtown Frisco for Happy Hour, pizza, fine dining, shopping, etc, and not have to worry about driving or parking. And everyone really enjoyed having our own outdoor spa, complete with bald eagle sighting! Thanks for everything!
