Frisco, CO is considered "the Main Street of the Rockies". It is approx 1 hour and 15 minutes from DIA Airport and right off of I-70. The charming Frisco downtown is one of the rare ski towns in the US that is still quaint, but yet offers walking distance to many amenities. Within a mile is a major supermarket, Whole Foods, Wal-Mart, Starbucks and many ski shops for equipment or rental needs. About Lisa Thomas Smith

We are two professionals who own investment properties, although this home is our first 'vacation rental' property. We moved to Denver in 2004 and spent three years visiting every town and resort area west of Denver in search of the perfect place for a mountain home. When we discovered Frisco, the search was over! We both travel extensively for work and pleasure and have tried to include all the amenities that we ourselves have experienced and loved throughout our travels. We do not use a rental service or a management company. We also have great local folks who maintain and upkeep the house and can be available in the case of emergency.

Lisa Thomas Smith purchased this house in 2007

Why Lisa Thomas Smith chose Northwest

Frisco is the perfect mountain location. It has the unique combination of both upscale and cheap eats restaurants, various boutiques, and world-class outdoor activities. It is just slightly over an hour drive from Denver, right off of I-70. Frisco is a small town with all the necessary conveniences, yet it has a quaint 'walk around' downtown that is uniquely special. There are five world-class ski resorts between 15 and 30 minutes away.

What makes this house unique

The house is two short blocks from the center of historic downtown Frisco, "The Main Street of the Rockies". It has great views of the mountains. You will be able to walk to an impressive number of restaurants and shops. Our home is not your typical rental. It is tastefully decorated and contains many upgrades. You will forget that you are in a vacation rental. We have gone to great lengths to make sure your stay will be comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Very lovely home! The kids had a blast in the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone. We will be back next year.

Wonderful Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED this quiet and relaxing home which perfectly fit our needs. Six adults and two children shared this home very comfortably. We even added an extra night! The home is in a beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen had everything for preparing family meals. The house was stocked with paper products, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc. - more than I've ever experienced at a rental. We took advantage of the washer and dryer (packed less clothes). Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were top notch. WIFI was strong and fast. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. But the Jacuzzi was the real highlight after a long day of hiking. Walking distance to all Main Street has to offer. The whole family took away some wonderful memories of our stay and were sad to leave. Thank you for allowing us to share this beautiful home and we look forward to returning next year!

Very good!!

  • 5 of 5

We had six to spend a couple of days and the space was clean, well equipped and owner was flexible. Close to Main St. and restaurants, walks and shopping. We had 2 ft. of snow and found the shovels to dig ourselves out. Everything worked well so no issues with our stay. Hope to use this home again.

Ski vacation

  • 5 of 5

It's a nice, well maintain house in the center of Frisco town.

We were 5 people staying for a week ski trip. There is plenty of room space, nice upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Patio hot tub helped us relax after a long ski day.

There is no garage, but we could fit 3 cars on the driveway.

Lisa, the owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Overall the house offers excellent value for the money and we are happy with our choice.

321 Creekside - top accommodation in Frisco, Col.

  • 5 of 5

321 Creekside Drive is a great inviting home for travelling skiers in Frisco, the epicentre of five great ski resorts, including Vail. Close to good restaurants within walking distance, and the occasional pub. The hot tub was very inviting and much appreciated after skiing the various resorts within a half hour drive. On the first day in the tub we saw animal tracks in the surrounding snow. The next day a large healthy good looking fox walked by within 25 feet of us and stayed for about a minute. He or she repeated the visit twice more. The snow, powder or groomed, was consistently dry and spectacular. For most evenings, new snow fell. All in all, a wonderful trip downhill.

Stuart Clyne, and three other skiers from Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia.
