The house has central air conditioning in all three bedrooms which will allow you to sleep comfortably. The ensuite master has a king bed. One room has an antique double bed and the other room has a double/single bunk. There is a pop up full in the living room.

The country kitchen opens onto a spacious deck, just the right spot to enjoy a meal or watch the sunset with wine from our local winery that we have waiting for you. The house sits up on a hillside and has a maintained trail to the beach. The beach is in its natural state (basalt rock), a deck was built that leads out to the floating dock. We are pleased to provide you with doTERRA hair and body care products. We strive to be as 'green' as we can be using only cleaning products that are safe for the environment.

This home is ideal for a single family or two or three couples.

About Suanne Harns

My name is Suanne and I am the owner of Lake Front Property Management. I have been assisting other homeowners with their summer rentals for about 15+ years. I enjoy helping people plan their summer vacation on the lake.

Suanne Harns purchased this house in 1993

Why Suanne Harns chose Lake Coeur d'Alene

My husband Mark and I moved to North Idaho in 1991 from San Diego, California. We had two small children and the dream to build a home in Carlin Bay. We built our home with the intention of someday having a bed and breakfast when the kids were grown. The house is 3 levels and has a locked off apartment in the daylight basement. I had started to manage other lake front homes for summer rentals and after the kids were off to college we decided that we too would offer our home for summer rentals. Instead of making it a bed and breakfast it is now a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home that rents only during the summer months.

What makes this house unique

We are pet lovers and like to allow our guests to bring their small furry loved one with a pet fee of $100 per dog. This house has a nice grassy front yard that most lake front homes don't offer. We have lots of water toys that are available to our guests. We found that our guests appreciated the personal contact and information we could share about the area.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home up for visitors to enjoy. This week has been a bounty of adventure - boating, floating, biking, laughing and memory making.

Your home is a home away from home - one wants for nothing! We leave with the fondest of memories and the greatest desire to return.

Many, many thanks,

Jane, Jeff, Eric & Julia

Great location, very clean and up to date too!!!!

  • 5 of 5

The property exactly as listed. Very clean and up to date. We thoroughly enjoyed this house and the Carlin Bay location. The owners couldn't be more nice. We have rented for five years on CDA and Hayden Lake and this is the best owners we have met. I would recommend this house and these owners to everyone.

Point Harns was on point!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place to gather my married kids and their families on the water. Point Harns checked off our every wish list box. The cumfy chair next to the large window get moments of reflection and quiet solace. So from the inviting home and family space to the dock, "kiddie pool", water toys and picnic are waterside this made our family get together a complete blast and enjoyable for all whether 53 yrs old or 19 months, we all hated to leave. A great choice for a relaxing time family time at a well cared for home this is it!

Great lakehouse

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 (2 adults, 3 teens and one pre-teen kid) spent a week at this lakehouse in August 2016 (this was our second time renting it). The house comes exactly as advertised, a perfect lakehouse setting with a dock for the boat (the owner kindly provides fixed ropes to tie the boat) and lots of water toys for the kids to play with, including a paddle board, two kayaks and a lili pad, as well as plenty of lifejackets if you need them. The kitchen is basically fully stocked, which is a great plus for a rental. A large deck off the kitchen overlooks the lake and offers a fabulous view and is a great place to spend the evenings sipping a drink and reading a book. There are also plenty of card and family games to enjoy - and to try to keep the kids off their cell phones for a while :-) (the wi-fi worked well for us). As disclosed, the owners live in an apartment at the bottom of the house with a separate entrance - consistent with our prior experience renting this house two years ago, I cannot stress enough how the owners, SuAnne and Mark, are very nice and absolutely unobtrusive - I was actually very glad that Mark was around to help me dealing with properly docking the boat when the wind picked up a bit on the lake!

Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to experience a few relaxing days at the lake. It will keep a family with kids plenty busy and entertained.

Fabulous views and everything you need to enjoy them!

  • 5 of 5

Our first trip to Couer d'Alene! How fortunate we were to find Point Harns in Carlin Bay. We came for the boating, hiking and biking and experienced it all from a beautiful location and well-equipped home for everything we needed. We added paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming from the dock thanks to the convenience of the water toys available . We cooked in a lot and appreciated the attention to detail for all the tools needed.

Most outstanding and memorable for us were the views, whether inside or outside. We had one person who spent most of their time at the home, who enjoyed a comfy chair watching us come and go from the boating dock. Fabulous views were always available from well-placed windows throughout the room, bedroom, dinning room, kitchen. Outside views were available from the front lawn, balconies (from master bedroom and kitchen), hammock, walking path, covered sitting area by the dock and the sitting area on the dock. We enjoyed the choices and different experiences each offered.

We also appreciated the owners/hosts who helped us expand our expectations of a Couer d'Alene experience. Thanks to all they offer, we wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend the property.

Peaceful and beautiful view

We stayed for 2 months due to selling our house and wanted to remain for season. Husband

had surgery and needed special needs which Suanne & Mark accommodated quickly. The house

was well stocked and immaculate. Great view and peaceful. Thank you Suanne & Mark for a

Great House on the Lake!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week on the lake, relaxing and playing in the lake. The house is beautiful and well stocked. All of the included water toys (kayak, standup paddle board, lilly pad) were a hit with the teenagers (and all of us). Both teenagers were never bored! The views are breath taking from the decks and windows. The hammock was a real treat too. Suanne & Mark are wonderful to work with and very helpful. They even let us borrow the small fishing boat to putter around in the bay. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything Suanne & Mark!
