This place is in a not very nice area, about 10 minutes from downtown. It was not clean and clearly needs renovation. The kitchen was poorly equipped, the bathroom was very small, and the dirty curtains in the living room made the whole place feel neglected.We stayed for 3 nights and had a disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Drastic difference between inside & out

The inside of the condo was nice but the neighborhood looked a little sketchy. Plus, accessing the condo from where we had to park was very difficult.

It is indeed in an up and coming neighborhood and we understand when some guests have a hesitation. Rest assured I as a young woman from LA had been walking these areas many times with no issues. About parking, sorry you had difficulty with access! For our guests, please know we are always happy to assist and we also have a detailed guide book to guide our you. Pros:-The interior of the apartment is actually decent-You have full amenities you would expect of an apartment for rent-The location of the flat compared to everything listed nearby is accurate and is actually super convenient. We had no problems getting in or out, walking around, or driving around conveniently.-The actual check-in document is SUPER detailed and I appreciate the time spent from the staff making it very easy to understand.-The staff were very quick and helpful with responding to inquiries and messages; also greatly appreciated.The Cons:-This place is honestly disgusting in many ways and I genuinely think a clean freak would not last ten seconds here. There was hair on the bed, mold all over the shower curtains and the ceiling, dirt on the floors, food stuffs in the kitchen sink, and immense amount of dust on the central air vent.-Related to above, there is clogging in the bathroom and right side kitchen sink pipes and the garbage disposal does not work. This also affects the dishwasher which was filled with literal sewage and was absolutely disgusting-The booking process was WAY overcomplicated and honestly suspect to a degree I almost cancelled the trip. That process needs to be simplified and done through Vrbo in my opinion-The area, while seemingly safe, is the edge of what is simply the "rough part of town." Do with that what you will.All in all, it's a decent stay for a short period of time but I would personally go with something nicer.

Bad neighbor hood to stay out

Hair all over sheets and towels. cockroaches coming up from the drains. YOU CANNOT PARK ON PROPERTY also this is in a bad location..

I had a difficult time getting check in information. Since I booked through VRBO I was looking for email from them. Abode was sending info to my email but it was going to spam. When I called the phone number it was to an Abode office. They requested a copy of my Dr license and a picture of me holding my license. I had to do that 3 times before it was accepted. I was in Nashville for a day before I received the the address and check in info. When we got to the apt it was as pictured and was nice except for the bathroom. The vent fan was covered in dust, the shower curtain was moldy and the floor was dirty. The place was not really in walking distance to anything and not in the best neighborhood to walk in. If VRBO is “by owner” doesn’t that rule out companies like Abode?

Thank you Susan for taking the time to leave us your feedback! Glad to hear you liked our apartment though trully sorry to hear you did not have the experience we would have wanted you to have. Regarding the check in email, I do see it was sent at 4pm 10/26 for your check in date 10/27. I see you mentioned you were already on your way to Nashville on 10/26. About the photos, given that we have self check in units and no front desk to verify your information, thus we request these to be submitted ahead of time. Please know we do this to ensure the cardholder is actually the person booking. When guests don't have the proper credentials, we had to cancel this to avoid chargebacks from the cardholder. About the vent, sorry this is the first time we hear about it. Do know that as part of our regular maintenance, all the filters in all our units have been replaced within the past 2 weeks. Do know that if we received any complaints during your 4night's stay, we would have sent our cleaning contractors immediately as we have a very high standard of cleaning hence have employed a company of good repute to ensure this is done. Please know that "Abode" is our company and we are the lessee of the unit you have booked. We started out as husband and wife with a few units and had been doing the cleaning and communications ourselves. With growth, we needed a team to help us ensure all our guests are assisted to in a very timely manner hence the company was established. About the area, I am a young professional woman and have been walking these up and coming neighborhood with no fear, as had many of our guests. Hope this clarifies and again our apologies Susan!
