About this property

1272 Great Downtown Location nice 2 bedroom home on quite street

This a two bedroom home with one full bath. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds on a nice wooden bed frame and new ceiling fans with led lighting and remotes. They also have side table lamps with a build in outlet to make it easy to charge your phone just remember to bring your phone charger cable. There is plenty of closet space. The living room has a Queen Sofa with a pull out queen bed. In addition to Linens and Towels shampoo and body wash we also have coffee, Tea sugar and creamer. Just bring your tooth brush and tooth paste and you will be good. The back Yard has a nice big deck. For check in we have a advanced keypad door lock so no messy keys to bother with. Despite being in downtown Atlanta this house is located in a quiet neighborhood. We are minutes from I75 and I85 so you can quickly get to any part of Atlanta from this great location.
Off-street parking is included for two autos for free. There is also on street parking for free.

Just what we needed.

Drove to Atlanta to take care of some business, play a little downtown, and eat dinner in a few good restaurants. Mission accomplished. Beds were comfortable. Driveway has plenty of room. Kitchen had coffee, creamer, and filtered water. Bathroom had all needed supplies including toothpaste and a strong hair dryer.

***Price is very reasonable for this duplex unit.*** It’s only fair to report that this place is only accessible with many steps, front or back door, and wheelchair bound and elderly wouldn’t be able to access. Be ready if you have heavy luggage to carry up steps. Front yard needs tidying up.

It’s a duplex not a house as listed. 1 bed was not even all the way together and cracked.. had to sleep on floor Other bed was wobbly as everything Pull out couch bed had no sheets or cover Roach in the floor No towels or anything for showering Floor in one bathroom had pieces coming up and moving Walls are nasty Couch is stain ridden and uncomfortable False advertisement of such.

There was a major water main burst in the area for 2 days prior to our arrival, according to his neighbors. The owner should inform us and allow us to cancel the reservation. But there was no communication at all. We gave it the entire afternoon, he said there was no one he could call on a Sunday. When we asked him for a cancellation and a refund (I was not going to report any of this if he did allow us to), he refused and said 'it wasn't his fault'. We booked a nearby hotel and departed.

Nasty dirty & when we reported he asked if we’d like to leave & did nothing to resolve issues.

I was so grossed out at how dirty the floors were I couldn’t walk anywhere inside the house without socks or shoes. The vents were all covered in thick dust. The outside trash cans were where I had to park the car & were full & overflowing & smelled really bad. It wasn’t upfront about being a duplex. There were no pictures of the front being 2 flights of steps. I have a bad knee & wouldn’t have picked those steep steps. The picture I seen of the front was level, so it must’ve been another house in that picture. The area was ok but further than I thought from the Marta. We enjoyed our stay in Atlanta & had a Great Time at the Primerica Convention. I would not recommend this persons places for VRBO. Not only was there issues but his response was terrible. If you don’t like it you can leave was very insulting & not what you would expect from a host. Thanks, Lori

Definitely would book again

I loved everything about this place . Check in process was easy and simple . The place looks exactly like the pictures that are posted . I loved loved loved the bar area and the updated bathrooms throughout the home . I have a bad back and I must say those beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in . Any time I contacted the property manager, he always responded . My only suggestion would be to add TVs in the bedrooms . As previously stated , I would definitely book this place again .

This truly was a fantastic experience, from booking to checking in to the place itself. Great location, clean, nicely furnished and felt very much like i was "at home" while away from home. Both of the bathrooms and the kitchen have been updated and look very great. The wifi was strong and fast! Thank you for the great stay. I'll be back again the next time I am in Atlanta.
