Beautiful Modern House with south charm

Great Spot

I booked the property for visiting family members (4 adults, 2 teens). Everything ran smoothly, the property was lovely and conveniently located, clean, and at a fantastic price. The host was responsive and helpful. 10/10 highly recommend this spot for your next stay.

Stay was good. Beds are comfortable. Place needed some cleaning and TLC. Owner was responsive and easy to work with. Area was ok but not somewhere I would walk at night.

Baseball outing

The house was everything as advertised. Clean, well stocked, etc. I did not like having to share my drivers license via remote communication, due to the lack of security of texts and emails, however the owner requires this and it is disclosed in the rental information. The owner was extremely friendly and a great host. Will rent from them again.

IDEAL!

We were in town for the WWBA Event. Having done the 7 days in a hotel eating out 3x per day thing in the past, we decided to try to get a house instead. This was my first time getting a VRBO on my own, it was smooth and the host answered all my questions very quickly. If you are looking at this location for a WWBA, it worked out well for us (30-50 min in traffic to all but 1 game). You know from experience that the distance to the games is pretty much 'luck of the draw'. The house is close to I-20 which helps. There is also a small garage which is great for your players to stow gear and keep the dirt out of the house (I am sure the host appreciates this part). Easy hop to a local walmart and publix.

Hi, I’m Michael! I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.

I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.

When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.
