About this property

Vacation Home On The Secluded Shores Of Loon Lake

This beautiful cabin style condo is located on the secluded shores of Loon Lake. On the outskirts of the town of Soldotna and just 10 minutes away from Kenai, this cabin is also just a few minutes away from the famous Kenai River. You will enjoy the majestic view of the Kenai Mountain Range from the large deck system that overlooks the lake. This condo is part of the Loon Lake Condo Association which is a grouping of 5 condos that are individually owned and managed.

The Kenai River supports the largest recreational fishery in Alaska. The river supports runs of king, silver, sockeye, and pink salmon, along with dolly varden char, and rainbow trout. Luckily the cabin is just a few minutes away from a few of the most popular fishing guides in Soldotna!

This condo is perfect for a party of up to 6 people. It has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with full stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Comes with all dishes, cutlery, bake ware, and basic appliances including a fully stocked coffee bar. Condo has its own washer and dryer in unit, and comes prepared with clean sheets and towels upon your arrival. Comes with unlimited WiFi use and parking for multiple vehicles.

This condo comes with recreational accommodations such as fishing poles, paddle boat, and canoe use, and is right next to the public access dock. Loon Lake is also stocked with trout for summer and winter ice fishing. This condo is perfect for business trips, fishing trips, vacations, or any other reason to relax lakeside in this serene location.

Amazing views in a great location
This was the perfect location for a great vacation. The view is amazing and the house was very well equipped with everything we needed, even a net for bringing in the Silvers! The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was so quiet we were able to hear the very active loons on the lake. The host was easy to reach and answered in seconds. We had an amazing trip and hope to return to this VRBO in the future!

Awesome view of the lake!
Our stay was excellent, clean upon arrival and the view was better than photos. We tried to rebook for next year but the timeframe was taken.

We are Logan and Robyn, thank you for looking at Loon Lake. We are the proud owners of this home and we would be happy to have you stay. Robyn and I met playing volleyball in Fairbanks, AK and have been married since the summer of 2014. Logan works as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the local fire department and Robyn works as a Behavioral Clinician with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe. We have owned this property and maintained the land around the lake for the last 4 years. We take great pride in keeping the lake as a premier location on the Kenai Peninsula and hope that you will stay and enjoy what the lake has to offer.

Why they chose this property

One of the main draws to Loon Lake is the seclusion and stillness. The lake is non motorized and freshly stocked with both lake trout and landlocked silver salmon. This condo is one of 5 rentable condos on the lake which lends to a very private feeling as you look over the lake. Robyn and I live on site just a few doors down and are always available to provide answers to any questions or immediate solution if any problems were to occur. All 5 condos are connected by a common boardwalk with an enclosed hot tub in the middle that overlooks the lake. We hope you will take the time to look over our reviews from VRBO Property #719229 and take in what other have had to say.
