I recently stayed for the second time at "Charming Deia House". The most delightfully cozy, pretty, and comfortable little five bedroom house in Deya, complete with a beautiful swimming pool and stunning mountain views. It was just heavenly. The house is centrally located in a peaceful little Mallorquin enclave on a terraced hillside across the small valley from the charming little mountaintop church. A fifteen minute walk takes one from the house to the picturesque village with it's quaint restaurants, shops, supermarket, lively local bar, Sa Fonda, and of course the church at the top, while a twenty-five minute walk down through the olive groves takes one to the Cala, the beautiful village beach complete with two lively restaurants overlooking the bay with swimming cove and snorkelling off the rocks, or hiking along the cliff tops, enjoying the spectacular sea and mountain views and exploring nearby beaches.
The house itself is beautifully kept and has an old-world rustic charm.
It feels like a home away from home - a place which lends itself to inviting friends. I look forward to future visits. There is parking for a small car by the gate or a few yards down the road for larger cars.
