Our condo is one of 8 units, Windjammer II, part of the Windjammer complex (Phase I and II). Renovations completed the last several years including a new living room furniture. Summer rentals (06/08/19 - 08/23/19) receive bed linens, with beds made prior to arrival, and bath towels for each guest. Summer rentals include all fees except for tax. Be sure to compare our rates and amenities with others, we can't be beat.
The unit is a one-family owner anxious to share with other families. We've had awesome vacations at Ocean Isle over many years. The building is located in the exclusive West End of the island. The unit is modern, non-smoking, and is in a well maintained complex that includes a pool (one of the largest on the island) with ample lounge seating. Our unit is the closest to the beach, a mere 10 second walk, underneath Phase I building and you're on the beach. The beach is uncrowded, wide, and great for swimming. Private parking is available under the unit for 4 cars and there is plenty of general parking available.
Ocean Isle Beach is a quiet island with a family atmosphere. Although some restaurants, food stores, and shops are sprinkled about the island, some of those amenities are just off the island.
The condo is a large, 2 story unit with 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor (one king bed, one queen bed) and 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor (one queen, two doubles, and two doubles). Each generously sized bedroom has a full bath.
The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances (stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator), dishes, glassware and cookware, etc. and plenty of cabinet and counter space. There is a full-sized washer and dryer. A closet on the ground floor is available to store beach toys, golf clubs, bicycles, etc. Outdoor community charcoal grills are available for use.
