Sandy and Tom have lived in NC since 1996, moving down from Syracuse, NY. We have also lived in Harrisburg, PA, Va Beach, Atlanta, Roanoke, VA, and Bel Air, MD. We have been married 49 years, have five grown children and ten grand children. We purchased this property on Feb 20, 2014 and are planning to both rent and use the property.

We have been coming to Ocean Isle Beach since 1986. We have stayed on and off at the Windjammer since 1999. We have been to many east coast beaches and zeroed in on Ocean Isle for several reasons. We find the water and waves more gentle and less abrasive; one can walk out almost 100 yards without being in water over the head; the east - west beach allows viewing of the sunrise and sunset from the same beach; almost zero incidences of jelly fish; the water temperature is moderate for an extended season of time; the Windjammer is a sturdy steel in concrete building with available covered parking, an extra large pool, and an elevator; the beach is rarely over crowed and tends to be family oriented.
