This renovated farmhouse (2020) is nestled back in the foothills of Stokes County with breathtaking views of Cook's wall and all the privacy for a relaxing get-away. The older homestead built in the 1800's still stands on the property. The Lucky House's sister home, Treetop, is next door (yet allowing plenty of privacy between the two homes) and sleeps 8 if you need more room for your guests. Treetop's Property ID# is 3934130 and is also available to rent on it's own.
This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home sleeps 6 and is just minutes from all that Stokes County has to offer including Hanging Rock State Park, Moore Springs Manor, and historic Danbury. Explore the outdoors with hikes to the waterfalls, tube the Dan River, rock climbing and much more!
Pilot Mountain State Park is also just a short drive away. Wi-Fi streams all you need on a large smart TV in the living area. New (2020) refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, range with oven, microwave, master bedroom and bathroom with beautiful tile shower and double sink vanity, and an outdoor patio with gas grill and fire pit to relax after your day. Wake Forest University and downtown Winston-Salem are a short drive from The Lucky House. Enjoy the revitalized downtown Winston-Salem or King areas with dinner and live music and one of our local tap houses, StoCo Provisions or 1889 Taphouse. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The property was super clean (most important to me when renting!) We enjoyed the view, roasting marshmallows & playing Yardzee. We also took in some hiking and spent one afternoon swimming at the lake. What a perfect pit stop for my family on our way to the beach.
