Enjoy a peaceful stay at this quaint, historic 2-bedroom farmhouse in Pilot Mountain. Buit in 1902, this wooded property is cozy and secluded. You will feel right at home. With 1 queen bed and 2 full beds, it comfortably accommodates one or two couples. A full bath exists on the bottom floor next to the queen size bedroom. A half bath exists on the second floor with the two full size beds. The farmhouse features modern amenities like washer-dryer, WiFi, fully furnished kitchen, deck, outdoor gas grill, wood burning firepit with cooking rack and abundant wildlife. The full bathroom is equipped with a shower for two. Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions in Yadkin Valley Wine country, nearby state parks or the little mountain towns of Pilot Mountain / Mount airy, or simply relaxing, our place will help you experience everything country living has to offer.

This was a super cute property, private and comfy. It was close enough to Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain (town and mountain) as well as Hanging Rock State Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the communication with the host was excellent!

Quiet & Restful Cabin in the Country

Love this place - if you like a quiet, country setting with plenty of wildlife. Perfect stay for me, my husband and dog. Our host, Cyndee, was very responsive in our communications. Will definitely be back!

It is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with modern appliances, including an outside SPA and gas barbecue. Plenty of towels and instructions for all appliances. Very comfortable and quiet, just 10 minutes from the town of Pilot Mountain.

Wonderful winter retreat!

One of the most unique, comfortable, and historic VRBO experiences we have had. We LOVED the historic details that were maintained, but appreciated the very updated and modern amenities that creatively blended the past with the present. We were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal and also see the stars from the incredibly clean hot tub. We'll be back.

Heaven on earth!

The Farmhouse was amazing! We took a 4 day weekend to celebrate our anniversary, the host left a Happy Anniversary celebration cookie to welcome us, they as provided coffee and 1/2 and 1/2 for our morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, nice towels and linens, kitchen perfectly outfitted, hot tub clean and wonderful! The property itself was so enjoyable; we walked with our dogs every morning and evening and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We will definitely be back next year!

This was a peaceful slice of heaven, far enough of away from the world to be able to spend time viewing wildlife and seeing stars, but closest enough to civilization to eat well. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings, having coffee or sitting on the back deck in the evening. The house is darling, with so many great antique conversation pieces. The host Cyndee was so responsive, and really all of our needs were covered. We got in late, but she had left lights and inviting music on for us to get settled in. The house was so clean and well appointed. We felt welcome, secure and so relaxed during our stay.

Relaxing Memorial Day Weekend

We enjoyed the peace and quiet this farmhouse and beautiful property offered us. The house was so cute and very much reminded us of an early farmhouse with all the modern amenities. The front porch, with rocking chairs, overlooked a very peaceful yard with the opportunity to see all the area wildlife. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and taking walks on the very well maintained grounds. Cyndee and Bill were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed meeting them. We would definitely stay at this farmhouse again.

Perfect Vacation Rental

I have stayed at many private vacation homes throughout the world. Cyndee & her husband have thought of everything to make her farmhouse stay perfect. There were so many added, thoughtful touches to what is already known. I won’t share them so others can be surprised! I recommend this rental 1 million percent. I also highly suggest checking out Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock Mountain & Mount Airy. Amazing hikes, views, waterfalls, shopping, Andy Griffith Show experiences, etc. There are also many wineries in the area but they were all closed on the days we could visit.

Perfect getaway!

We had a girls getaway at the farmhouse. It was private, beautiful, super clean and we had a lovely time. I had mentioned to the hosts that although we do a yearly girls getaway, this one was special because two of us had big birthdays this time. When we arrived, there were birthday balloons and dessert on the kitchen table to welcome us! It was so thoughtful! Our group of 3 each had our own comfortable bed. The farmhouse was spacious yet cozy at the same time. The property is beautiful and serene. I wish we could have stayed longer. When we weren't at the farmhouse we enjoyed exploring the nearby towns of Pilot Mountain and Mount Airy, hiking at Pilot Mountain State Park, and visiting JoLo winery. Our favorite amenity at the farmhouse after a busy day out was the hot tub that seemed to stay warm forever! We highly recommend staying in this beautiful area and this adorable cabin. Cyndee was a wonderful host!
