They are not the Hilton, and not everything here is straight or perfect. The cabins are older, and while we have preserved as much of their original charm as possible, we have modernized them where needed. If any of this does not sound like the right fit, that is completely okay. But if Apple Jack Ranch sounds perfect to you—as it has to thousands of previous guests—we would love to host you. Originally born in Copenhagen, Denmark, my life took a beautiful and unexpected turn in 2005 when I crossed the ocean to work as a wrangler on a dude ranch. It was there, among the horses and the open country, that I met my husband, Bounty. We fell in love with the ranch lifestyle and each other, and in 2010, we welcomed our son, Hector.Today, our family is happily rooted in the mountains, dedicating our time to caring for our animals and building our ranch step by step. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll find me in my art room, where I love creating watercolor paintings and breathing new life into old furniture through restoration and painting. While the rugged mountains are home, a piece of my heart still belongs to Scandinavia, and I love nothing more than sitting by the ocean whenever we go back to visit. Through every adventure, one thing remains constant: family and friends are always my number one priority.
