Acadian Farms Southern Farmhouse Cabin

Situated on 11 wooded acres, and close to town. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of two front porch swings or one of 4 comfy rocking chairs while you watch the horses roaming in the pastures. Wake to the roosters crow announcing sunrise and sunset. Then enjoy quiet evenings watching fireflies light up the sky . Our farmhouse cabin is the perfect little get away for a couples retreat or a whole family . The cabin sleeps 10 to 12 adults including a queen air mattress, and a very comfy sofa.

Conveniently located 2 miles from the Dogwood Venue, 2 miles from Bridlewood Barn Venue, 2 1/2 miles from the Trace Biking and walking trails and 7 miles from USM campus.

Smoking is NOT allowed on property, exterior areas of cabin or in cabin! Violation of this policy can result in eviction. No grilling or fire pits!

Hattiesburg, MS getaway!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was very clean and well kept up. If I needed to get in touch with the hostess she contacted me back within minutes. They had fenced in animals that the kids loved to pet. Porch with rocking chairs and swing were awesome to relax in. All in all, it was a very beautiful cabin and we had a great weekend.

Neat place

Enjoyed a girls weekend on the farm. Far enough out of the city to feel secluded but close enough to go out to dinner or get anything you need. Friendly animals. Decorated adorably. Stocked with all the basics. Needs more living room seating. Only sitting room for 6 people one of which being a straight chair. Bathrooms weren’t thoroughly cleaned. But not terrible.

Passing Through

We stayed here one night on our way through the South. Great house on a working horse ranch, complete with wild chickens, two donkeys, and of course, horses. There's wifi, cable, and plenty of outdoor space to stroll around. Highly recommend this quaint cabin.

Beautiful House/Accommodating Host

The house was beautiful and offered plenty of room for 7 adults and a 3 year old. All ages, from 3 to 83, enjoyed the horses and farm animals surrounding the property. Ashley was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

Farm Charm

Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving at the cabin. The only surprise we had was that there was no WiFi - but as I told the grandkids, that's life in the country. We would definitely stay there again!
