About this property
Relaxing Lakefront Retreat on Parker Pond
*** From July 1, 2024 - Sept 8, 2024 this camp rents on a weekly basis with a Monday check in and a Sunday checkout.***
Modern post & beam light filled camp in the woods on beautiful Parker Pond. Walk down the path to private dock for swimming, kayaking & canoeing. Designed by my Dad in 1998, this property offers a peaceful haven for those seeking a quiet and harmonious stay, where they can enjoy the comforts of home while respecting the tranquility valued by our neighbors. We are the only rental property on our road, and one of only a few on the lake. A wonderful place to relax & hear the call of the loons.
Our family still spends time here, so all the comforts we enjoy are available to you - a well stocked kitchen, bed linens, a stereo with a bluetooth hookup for your listening pleasure and a gas fire pit.
The house is about 1/2 mile down a private well kept dirt road. The lake is just down a private path from the house. There are 2 kayaks & a canoe for your use as well as life vests for various size humans.
Internet is DSL.
The television is a Roku smart TV which runs through our internet.
Cell reception is nothing to brag about, so a cellphone that can make wi-fi calls is a plus.
Tho the house is not designed for wheelchairs, the landscaping does allow for a person in a wheelchair to wheel out onto the dock. We have stairs off the dock, as well as a ladder.

About the host
Hosted by Kit Flynn
My dad is a native of Maine and building a home here was always a dream. Hosting guests at our home is a source of pride and I hope everyone who visits leaves loving our home and the wonder that is Parker Pond.
Why they chose this property
Parker Pond is one of the most pristine lakes in Maine. The road to the house is private, so things are pretty quiet and all the neighbors know one another.
What makes this property unique
This family home was designed in 1998 by my Dad and won an AIA award for wooden structure from the Long Island, NY AIA ( American Institute of Architects.) You enter on the 2nd floor right into the trees and can see the lake peeping through the woods.
