Old house on the banks of the Loire located on the island of Chalonnes sur Loire, along the Loire cycle route. Is part of the domain of Unesco.

Character house decorated in the old style, for musicians, piano and guitar available.

A covered courtyard with large outdoor dining table and plancha (summer kitchen) available.

There are 2 bedrooms in all, including a dormitory with three large beds (and a small 90 cm bed) which will delight evenings with friends or family.
And a very large authentic room with four-poster bed will seduce you.

The village of Chalonnes is 1 km away on foot, every Tuesday and Saturday morning pleasant local market.
Many small restaurants on the banks of the Loire nearby.

The nautical base for canoe and paddle rental on the small stream Louet is five minutes from the house.

Visit of cellars and tastings of Anjou wine in the surroundings.
Castles in the immediate vicinity.

Old House on the Loire

Nice oldie worldie property with basic facilities. Garden furniture in need of updating as well as the out door lighting and electrics. (We would have preferred a washing machine instead of a dishwasher,but everyone to their own.) The Loire river wasn't accessible for swimming or directly infront of the house as we were led to believe, but a beautiful spot and the host Myriam was available via messaging throughout the week.

Un peu décevant

Notre maison était collée à celle des propriétaires. Les photos(très belles) mais mensongères car elles concernent plus les photos de la propriété des propriétaires auxquelles nous n'avions pas accès. La propreté laisse à désirer (frigo et four pas nettoyés (la propreté est très limite), Location trop chère pour ce qu'elle est !

prachtige woning in de Loirestreek

Tof, ingericht huis dat wat buiten het centrum van Chalonnes ligt. Ideaal voor wie de rust opzoekt. Ruime kamers en ruime leefruimtes. We hebben van onze vakantie genoten.
